What is ipsy?
ipsy is $10/month and sends its members a beautiful Glam Bag with 4-6 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products.
I can’t justify cancelling it, but I’m not nearly as excited about ipsy as I used to be. Birchbox, however, had really stepped up their game!
Do you have tips for improving birchbox? I subbed with them in the summer, and the only 2 things I chose under my “want” list were make up and body products. I only ever get 1 makeup item and lots of hair products I don’t use (I told them I am natural with my hair) and face creams. I want make up so ipsy is perfect.
Ugh…enough with the mascara. I cancelled a couple years ago because they sent mascara in every bag. Looks like they’re back at it again.
I’ve only gotten 1 mascara from ipsy all year; so I’d love one, but I feel for you if you have been overloaded. Hopefully they will take note and pick something else for you. I’d love anything on this sneak peek page. Thanks for sharing!
I actually contacted them last month when they revealed everyone was getting mascara. I received an exceptionally rude response. I simply asked them if they could substitute out the mascara since I was very specific in my style profile that I didn’t want it. I received a 4 paragraph email informing me that the style profile didn’t allow people to say what they do or don’t want, and that if I receive a lot of mascara, it is my own fault…my fault because I have never done a review of any of my bags. This is actually 100% false as I have reviewed all of them.
I think I love the little bags more than anything else, and the contents inside are a bonus! Here’s hoping I get the nail polish!
I wonder what the theme this month is going to be..something with emojis? I’m hoping for the IT Cosmetics mascara!

I hope I get other things other then face care I would like more makeup ipsy started out great and as time passed it’s gotten a bit lazy ? my Nov. Bag was a shame but don’t get me wrong I still love ipsy I just wish I was getting more makeup .
Id love polish in my colors. Id love eye shadow but enough with the bronze. I have enough mascara already! I get like a little kid when my pkg arrives but I’m always alil disappointed.
I am new to Ipsy, December will be my 1st glam bag & I’m really excited! What I want to know is when to expect it’s arrival?
They ship after the 10th of the month. I expect to get mine between the 15th and 20th!
