The Box

Subscript Decor ships via USPS. This box was HUGE, but it was fairly light. I couldn’t even get a picture of the entire box it was so big.

I could (obviously) tell what the top item was, but that metal thing at the bottom?  What on earth!  I had no idea what that was.

The Information Card

The March 2015 Subscript Decor theme was “Spring Awakening” and included the following items:

~Kassatex Two Sofia Hand Towels (Pewter) ($27.99): These are turkish towels (i.e. they were crafted in Turkey), but only the grey and white striped section is the made out of what I think of when someone says turkish towel.  The rest is a fabulous white terry.  They are SO soft and will be perfect in my bathroom.

~Kikkerland Large Folding Wire Basket ($20): The metal thing turned out to be a folding wire basket (and also super hard to photograph) and is, just about, the coolest thing ever.  You can fold it into a ton of different shapes (the link I posted has a video) and use it for a ton of different purposes.  I am going to use it as a trash can in my office for now.  So cool!

~Juniper Tree Supplies Designed by Subscript Decor Two Lavender Satchels ($11): Is it weird that I want to put one of these in my car? Like under the seat.  Because that could certainly use some freshening up.

~Chalkboard (~$5): This wasn’t on the information card so I am not sure if it was a last minute addition or a little bonus or what.  Whatever it is, I like it!  I am considering using as it gets closer to the end of the school year as a countdown for L.

All totaled I came up with a value of $63.99 for the March 2015 Subscript Decor box.  The information card places the value at close to $70, but I found a few of the items online for less so I went with my lesser price.  Either way it’s more than the cost of the box and I thought their picks were really fun and VERY usable!

What do you think of Subscript Decor?  If you are interested in subscribing or want to browse through their shop you can head on over to their site.  The March box I reviewed is sold out, but they are now taking orders for their April “Geometric” box which is set to arrive to you by April 15th!

April will be their last subscription box they moving outside the subscirption box realm according to an email I received yesterday, they will continue offering home decore retail items on their online store and increase the number of handcrafted and art items, prepackage retail boxes will be available at request only.

Sad to see this subscription end loved the 3 boxes I received and expect April to be just as good.

So sad… I’ve been looking for a home decor box and was ready to jump on this subscription. Then I saw they weren’t doing it any more!
