My September 2014 BOXYCHARM tracking hadn’t updated in days, so I was totally shocked when it appeared in my mailbox this afternoon.
If you aren’t familiar, BOXYCHARM is a beauty box subscription that surprises you each month with the best beauty products from popular and chic brands. It’s $21/month and includes full size and luxury size beauty samples from their team’s preferred well-known brands.
BOXYCHARM ships via USPS and like I said, my tracking hadn’t updated it days. It still hasn’t actually. It still says that the box just left Orlando. Not sure what happened, but it’s here now.
I think the box was even more impressive in person than I was expecting it to be. And based on the spoilers, I was expecting it to be quite impressive.
The September 2014 BOXYCHARM theme was “Fashion Week Fabulous” and included the following items to get you strutting in no time:
~Tarte LipSurgence Lip Gloss (Exposed) ($19): There were a few different shades sent out, but I am really happy with mine. It’s nice and shiny and is the perfect cross between pink and brown.
~Coastal Scents Go Palette (London) ($8.95): There were also a variety of different Coastal Scents palettes sent out this month. I received London which works for me. It’s got some neutrals and some brights, so it’s a nice mix.
~NCLA Nail Polish (Catwalk Queen) ($16): I think this was the shade I least wanted, but let’s be real, do I really need another bright red polish? Probably not. With a coating of gold glitter this will work quite nicely.
~Tarina Tarantino Fleur De Lash Mascara ($19): I believe that new subscribers received the Tarina Tarantino Eye Dream Hyperlight while old subscribers got the mascara. I have never received the Hyperlight from BOXYCHARM before (they must have sent it before I started subscribing) so I would have been totally fine with either product.
~Harvey Prince Hello Perfume ($26): Ahh! I am obsessed with Harvey Prince. Everything I have ever smelled by Harvey Prince I have loved. I think that Hello! is my favorite though. It has notes of “Meyer Lemon, White Grapefruit and Satsuma Mandarin”. If you’ve never smelled it, I highly recommend trying to get your hands on some in a trade.
All totaled the September 2014 BOXYCHARM box has a value of $88.95 and I thought it was totally incredible. It appears that BOXYCHARM now has a waitlist (this is according to a few people who have recently subscribed along with the BOXYCHARM Facebook page) because it’s been so popular lately (and I totally see why). If you are / were on the waitlist, will you do me a favor and comment how long it took to get off of it so people can have an idea what to expect?

I ordered it just for the Hello perfume lol. I’m in love with it. Everything else is just a total bonus.
This is an AWESOME box. I may need to try it out after the holidays and all that stuff. I do agree that the polish color leaves a little to be desired but I do love all my ncla polishes so with a little glitter you should be good to go.
Oh wow! I just got my tracking number today. I am new to Boxycharm as of last month and so far I am very impressed. I was torn between Boxycharm and Lip Factory…but so far I think I made the better choice.

I just got mine in the mail today too and was super shocked because my tracking didn’t update for 5 days until today!! I received the same options as you and was a little bummed about the nail polish shade as well, but overall another AMAZING box. They are quickly becoming my favorite beauty sub box!!

Actually I got the red and hoped I got this color! I never wear or buy reds and this was the only thing I was really disappointed about. I hadn’t smelled Hello until now and I’m surprised I love it! (I’m really picky about scents and allergic to some. I love that it has the spray top instead of a rollerball!
How bright is the red in person???
Pretty bright but a little lighter and very slightly on the orange side than I expected! I like orange reds but this is a not orange enough for me. I’d be happy to send it to you, or trade, if you’d like!

This box was fantastic. I love your London palette. I was going to try to swap for more of these palettes but decided not to wait, they are inexpensive and I ordered a couple more on amazon. I got the Cairo one. I also got the cream colored nail polish but I also just got nail sponges and this will work well as a base for when I sponge my nails with my square hue trio to make a graduated look. So I’m excited. And i was a new sub to boxycharm and did receive the mascara. I was so in love with this box I tried to gift a sub to my best friend but got wait listed 🙁 it was a super popular box this time.

I was bummed when I got this polish color too, but I love your suggestion about the gold glitter! Now I have to dig through my 400 (ok, maybe 60 bottles) other polishes to find my gold glitter. Thanks!

Mine showed up yesterday out of the blue as well. I got the same nail polish as you and while not my favorite color, I’m sure I’ll use it. I got the Beijing eyeshadow palette and love it. I got the mascara because I got the Eye Dream Hyperlight from their June box. I think I may be the only person who doesn’t like the Harvey Prince Hello Perfume. It’s much too strong for me.

I signed up on Sept 2nd and havent heard anything back. So longer than I was on the ipsy wait list (3 days). I’m a little disappointed that the other subscription review services never mentioned a wait list since I cancelled my birchbox and ipsy for this one and I’m still waiting and then found out that I wouldn’t get the mascara.
I think it just started. I know it’s really really recent. Let me know how long it takes for you to get signed up!
I really, really wanted this box, but when I went to sign up I got put on the “waitlist.” Checked their FB page and no one knows how long the watilist is, or if people on the waitlist can ever get the September box. Darn. Will be stalking your post to see if anyone writes in about the waitlist.

Been on the wishlist since the 31st of August, no word on the lift date. Cancelled my Ipsy for this. Emailed Support and they said there’s no guarantee for September, October, or November. I am thinking about getting my Ipsy back now..
