It’s time for another Thursday Thoughts! If you want to participate, but have no idea what a link-up is, you can check out my explanation of it here.

~Our four days of nice weather have come to an end today, but whatever. It was good while it lasted and it won’t be long before it’s back! I think we all got to recharge a little from being able to be outside in the sun. Everyone’s moods just seem brighter.  I know mine is.

SUNSHINE!
SUNSHINE!

~Teen Mom. Will I ever tire of those ladies? Never. Leah and Jeremy? Listen, you two aren’t going to make it unless you get some help. And by help Leah, I don’t mean just talking to your ex-husband about your problems with your new husband. That’s not helpful. Chelsea you’re my favorite now. Who would have thought. Jenelle. Can someone explain what’s up with her and Nathan? Does he have a family? Can we see them? What does he get arrested for next week? And finally, Kailyn. Her mom is coming next week! Ahh, what is going to happen with that. They had some epic blowouts on the show, so this should be interesting.

~ WB and I went to Target yesterday morning and go course I couldn’t leave without a few extras. It’s the law of Target after all. And this Target actually had the Birthday Cake m&m’s so I felt like I had to get those too.  And I don’t know what was up withWB, but he happily sat in the cart the entire trip and insisted that we check out the candles.  He likes to smell them all.  For real.  We settled on Sea Salt and Sand.  Doesn’t that just sound vacation like?

~I have my first haircut appointment in, umm, over a year tomorrow and am dreading it and looking forward to it at the same time.  I told L I had an appointment and he was like yeah, “you need a haircut – just look at it”.  BAHAHA.  Thanks buddy.  I also have to drop my MacBook off at the Apple Store which I am dreading.  I hope they really don’t have it for 4 days!!

~I still have an assortment of boxes coming this week including another Fancy Mystery Box!  Yeah, I broke down and ordered another on Tuesday.  I can’t resist.  I am also waiting on Mama’s Got Mail, Dottiebox, My Community Box, the Spring Q Box, littleBLAST and Hazel Lane.  The week got off to a slow start, but is totally picking up.

~This might be more of a Tuesday’s Troubles item, but has anyone ever rented an RV?  L is saving his money to buy an RV (no seriously) and since it’ll be awhile before he has enough for one we are thinking about renting one this summer and taking a little Pure Michigan road trip.  Honestly it doesn’t sound that appealing to me to sleep / camp in an RV, but L, and B for that matter, would be all over it and I really like them, so we need to look into that.  Any advice?  Is it doable?

What’s going on for your Thursday?  Any weekend plans?

  1. I don’t personally own one but my Aunt always has – started with a popup when we were kids. We did a lot of camping & whenever we traveled with her (her daughter/my cousin is 5 months older than me so we were ALWAYS together) we would go RV! It’s great because you have everything you need. And AC.

    1. Jennifer

Yes, that is a good thing. You have ac and the bugs don’t get you!

  2. What kind of RV are we talking about? Like the one from Meet the Focker’s? Lol. I recently got my haircut after over a year as well. I just hadn’t found the right stylist. I finally have, though. I got a glaze too. From now on, I plan to get my hair done at least 2-3 times per year. I deserve that, right? So do you! Enjoy it!

    1. Jennifer

I just don’t like to sit in the chair! I get so annoyed it’s taking so long!!! I put it off as long as possible because I can’t stand it!!

  3. Maura

My husband and 4 of his friends rented an RV this past September. Actually, they drove it from NJ to Michigan for the Michigan/Notre Dame game. It was relatively easy process and since they split it 5 ways, it wasn’t too expensive. The RV had sleeping space for 6-7 so it was pretty roomy. You can imagine how clean it was after 5 guys in their mid to late twenties spent a long weekend in it….

    1. Jennifer

I cannot even imagine! I would guess it smelled like a pile of stale beer too!

I love that WB is so into candles! Candles are one of my weaknesses and I’m always bringing more home, even though I doubt I’ll ever have time to burn them all. Love the sound of a Sea Salt & Sand candle, so need to see if my Target has them!

Good luck with the RV vacation! I’m more of a hotel or rental condo, but it sounds like something the boys would like. If you do find a RV to rent, will you be taking the furbabies with you?

    1. Jennifer

I don’t know. That is a good question. Probably not. That just seems like it would be even crazier than it will already be!

He’s so funny when he smells candles. He’s so into it.

  5. Kelley Quigley

That is way too cute that L is saving for an RV!! We’ve never rented one – we are tent campers here. I like to say it’s because I prefer “pure” camping, but really its just because I can’t afford an RV LOL. I do like to camp regardless though. The only negative is bugs, but with an RV you are much more protected from that!

    1. Jennifer

I am not much of a fan of camping or any of that. I just don’t let feeling like I am dirty. Which comes with being outside I guess. LOL!

  6. Carla

I had no idea about the Starbucks bonus stars! Thank you for sharing. I have been trying to enter the codes but they are all invaild, hopefully they will work later today.

I can’t get enough of Teen Mom either.

Good luck with the RV. Maybe you can get one like the country music stars or nascar drivers have. They are all pimped out! ha! “Roughing it” to me is staying in a hotel with no room service! 🙂

    1. Jennifer

I agree on the no room service. I mean how would I use the internet in an RV?

      1. Carla

Okay here is the dealio…if you can’t use your hotspot while on the RV and it keeps you for posting at least once a day, I am starting a petition to veto the RV trip! I personally think it should be a boys trip and you should check-in to a uber luxurious spa resort! Ahhhh

        1. Jennifer

Honestly I would have to buy a wireless card for that week. I cannot be without the internet.

  7. victoria

I think Nathan gets arrested for drunk driving, since Jenelle screamed “It’s his choice to drive” or something like that. That and he kinda looked “off” in the preview. I think there’s something up with with him more than they are showing. Neither one of them are on the right path, especially for a baby on the way.

      1. Jennifer

        What a moron.

    1. Jennifer

Totally totally agree. What was up with his hair last night?

        1. Jennifer

I did see that! So so dysfunctional.

  8. Beth

Two thoughts – um, no I did not know about the Starbucks codes – all over that!!

And two, RVs. My brother has the kind you pull behind the truck. It takes a lot of gas to pull that thing, but they do use it a handful of times a year and it is very doable. Just find a campground that has electricity and a place to dump the, um, waste. Of course if you are renting – maybe that is part of the package – they dump it for you. I wouldn’t go too many places though – the gas is expensive. My aunt and uncle took a full size one on a road trip with thier 5 kids for 6 weeks (I think) to Alaska a few years ago – they had a blast!! They had extra tents since there were so many of them, but they could fit in the RV. I say go for it – just don’t plan on it being cheap.

    1. Jennifer

Ohh, he wants to get an RV with a bathroom and the entire deal. Not just one you tow behind you. He’s serious about this. I hope that someone dumps it because I will have no part of that. My husband can handle that!!!

  9. Kelsey N.

I watched Teen Mom last night and I think that Leah needs to realize that she is the problem for why her marriages don’t work out. If my husband was going to be making $40,000 in 5 weeks I’d gladly send him right off haha! But that could be because I am use to a husband being gone when he was in the navy. And I feel that Nathan is just with Janelle so that he can be on TV.

    1. Jennifer

OMG I would happily send B away and if I were stressed I’d hire some help.

  10. Ashley C.

That candle sounds heavenly! Seriously, anything beachy right now — I need it all! As for TM2 — I haven’t watched it yet, but now I need to. Kailyn’s mom? She can take a flying leap … she seems to not really care anything about her daughter until a camera is involved … and Nathan was arrested for a high speed chase/dui/driving on suspended license awhile back. That’s probably it.

    1. Jennifer

Nathan is a complete idiot. I thought he was so clean and straight and never got in any trouble!

  11. Kayla

Omg , I am so addicted to the birthday cake m&m’s…. they are so good!

    1. Jennifer

      Too good!

  12. Tracy

We rented an RV from Cruise America almost 4 years ago and did the southwest. Gas was a tad painful but it really was fun!

It was also nice to have our own bathroom, and we could make meals, take our time, stop early or late or whatever.

    1. Jennifer

Ohh, how fun! How many days did you have it? We are kind of thinking just northern michigan and the UP.

      1. Tracy

Two weeks! We stopped at some campground, some swanky RV parks, a friend’s house, etc.

It was really a lot of fun and we have everything right there. It was nice as we had the dogs with us but I’m sure having a napping space and a fridge and a sink and a bathroom would be super nice with kiddos. I just didn’t fully understand HOW much gas an RV goes through!

  13. Lauren

Did you know Nathan has a daughter he doesn’t have custody of and has had multiple DUIs?! He and Jenelle make me sick. I can’t believe they’re about to bring another life into this world! Totally agree about Chelsea too. I would have never guessed!
Dying to get my hands on some birthday cake M&Ms too!

    1. Jennifer

I always forget he has a daughter. It seemed at the beginning he was so straight and perfect and now, well, not so much!

  14. Kyra

We just bought a travel trailer and last weekend was our 3rd trip! So far 2 out of 3 campgrounds have had wifi available! The KOA type parks worked better than the State Parks but it still worked! This is my preferred method of travel, I hate hotels. We had an RV growing up and it was a blast. We did the travel trailer though so we would have a way to get around when we got to our destination, it’s alot of work having to unhook everything to go sight-seeing. We take our cat and the bearded dragon with us too. My son has food allergies so this way I am able to take all of our own food and not have to eat out. Everyone in campgrounds are always super friendly and it’s pretty kid safe!

    1. Jennifer

I need wifi on the road! I’m such a hotel girl. Room service. Slippers and robes. A million channels on the TV and an amazing restaurant!

  15. Jean Marmion

    Hey Jennifer –
We rented RVs 3 years in a row. LOVED it. I’m not a “tent” camper, but the RV was nicer than I expected. If you rent it from an RV Dealership they usually are no more than a year old so they are the newer models. It was my husband and our two daughters and we had plenty of room. It was really fun. I think you’d like it. Just make sure to go somewhere that has all of the hook-ups (water, electricity, etc). They have all the modern conveniences! It’s not a real restful vacation, but the kids would LOVE it! I highly recommend you do it at least once. Let us know what you decide. . . If you have any questions, feel free to email me – lyttmab at gmail dot com.

    1. Jennifer

Thank you!!! I may just do that!

  16. Jenny Birk

I am having trouble with the Starbucks reward stars – it keeps saying invalid. Did those codes expire? I was sick and behind on checking emails last week. Thanks 🙂

    1. Jennifer

Oh yeah, these expired long ago! Sorry!
