Bonjour Jolie is a mother-daughter company that provides what you need, as well as what you want, to sail through your monthly periods with ease. Their company is focused on providing a monthly subscription service that discreetly delivers the feminine supplies you need along with product samples and a few things to pamper and sooth you too.
Bonjour Jolie ships via USPS Priority Mail (2 Day) and promises to arrive according to your cycle dates which are selected when you sign up. If needed, you an adjust the dates without a problem.
I look forward to Bonjour Jolie each month because I love seeing the “extras”. I don’t get too excited about pads and tampons, but the extras, those get me excited! This month Bonjour Jolie stated that each box would contain a personalized item, so I was interested that that.
The September Bonjour Jolie theme is “Go Vegan!” and suggestions that you try something new this month with September’s all vegan items! Here’s what the box included:
The Supplies: I mention it every month, but you can select any combination of 30 items – pads or tampons and can get any size or brand you want. They offer tons of brands (you can see them here) and also offer Softcup, and NatraCare Organic!
The Gift ($16): This month’s gift is a personalized silver necklace with my initial on it! It’s super cute and I appreciate the personal touch. I am guessing it wasn’t easy for them to do this (I can’t imagine other boxes even trying it) and I think it’s impressive!
~The Edibles (Gourmellow – By Desidero Chocolates & SerendipiTea Tea Company) ($6.50): You know how I feel about tea (I don’t drink it), but I know that B will appreciate that this isn’t a woman’s tea and it will get used. Now the chocolate covered marshmallow thing? Now we’re talking!
The Pampering ($9): This month’s pampering items included PuurBody Vegan Lip Balm (Sweet Vanilla), Just Pure Minerals Bronzer and Brush, Sunny Day Botanicals Organic Lotion, U Just Relax Bath Tea, Always Radiant Wipes and of course, Advil! I am loving the lip balm. It’s yummy and I can’t get enough lip balm. Ever.
I didn’t do a detailed cost breakdown, but I came up with a quick total of about $40 for this box! Bonjour Jolie is $21/month and is always worth more than the cost. It’s alsoa great way to treat yourself (or someone else) during that time of the month!

I’m super excited about this month’s box. The personalized necklace…such a nice touch. With all of the gold I’ve gotten in boxes the silver is so welcomed. I’ve never been dissatisfied with this sub.
That necklace is really cute to be in one of these boxes. I don’t normally like the jewelry in the boxes but this one is something I would wear.
I think I’m finally going to try this one next month! Now that I’ve cut down my subs to the bare minimum (only one Ipsy sub right now!) I am considering resubbing to Glossybox and adding this one. 🙂 I had kind of disregarded it as I use a cup (helps with my cramps) the vast majority of the time, but I do like liners/pads as backup and this would be a much more fun way to stock up on those, and I do like having a few tampons on hand for emergencies.
Just FYI, they do carry the disposable cups.
