Prince Harry: Oh my. I love him. He just seems so down to earth. And fun. Seriously, this guy knows how to have a good time. Come on, like we all haven’t had a little too much fun in Vegas. The difference is that he’s a prince and we’re not so no one is selling our craziness to TMZ. I loved that he called his game of strip pool an example of “too much army” and “not enough prince”. If you let me pick between Ryan Gosling and Prince Harry, I don’t even know what I’d do???

The Fireplace. The past week or so I have spent my nights curled up on the couch watching PLL with a fire going (well, I just flipped the switch on, but whatever) and hoping that A stops texting those girls. It’s so unrealistic that they can’t just get cell records and figure this out in like two seconds, but whatever. I love it. And I love watching it with the fire keeping me toasty warm!

Magnolia Bakery Cupcakes: We tried these for the first time when we went to Chicago and now no other cupcake will do. However, I just realized that they ship! I might have to order some for a Valentine’s Day treat! Have any of you ever gotten something like this shipped? They ship frozen. Does that make them icky?

Rita Hazen Root Concealer: I haven’t tried this stuff yet, but I hear it is AMAZING. My roots get so horrid so fast and I’d like to avoid dying my hair every two seconds. It’s on my Sephora to order list for sure!

The Boys: Sometimes L is still awake when B gets home from school at night. And when that happens L will climb into bed with B and they’ll talk and play on their iPads. If they get too loud and WB will wake up and want to join the fun. Then it turns into a party! And I love every single second of it.

Tory Burch Chevron Blanket: Why didn’t I know about this blanket when it was still for sale? I am now obsessed with trying to find it. It’s not on ebay. Or anywhere. Probably for the best since it’s super spendy and the furries would just try and claim it as their own!

The Furries: And speaking of the furries, just because I don’t want to get them a pricey TB blanket doesn’t mean I don’t love them any less. They really are good dogs and I wouldn’t trade them for anything. I can’t imagine life without a dog. Or two. I think L would have been a very bored kid before WB came along if it wasn’t for these guys!
According to my sister (and mother), frozen cupcakes are not bad at all. My sister is finishing her degree as a pastry chef so it’s pretty credible. Over the holidays she sold a lot of desserts and cupcakes were overflowing in our freezer. They can be frozen with or without frosting and they’re still the same texture and consistency once they’ve thawed. I’m not sure about shipping, but it must not be bad if they offer it!
Tip – put a chocolate cupcake (usually without frosting) in the microwave for 30 seconds or less with a little hot fudge on top. It’s absolutely delicious and isn’t too horrible of an unhealthy dessert :).
I was thinking the same thing. Last night I watched the episode where Hanna got hit by “A.” And every time they get a text I think “those cops checked Alison’s cell records from a year ago and know she took a call from Toby, but aren’t checking the cell records of the girls being investigated….get out of here!” I’m still watching!!! Dude, A wrote on her cast!!!? LOL Maybe I should be a cop?!?

So since my 15 year daughter is getting glambag, hubby and I birchbox, I need to find a box for my 13 year old daughter that isn’t really that into makeup yet. She is more artsy. Do you have a suggestion? I know your boys are much younger but have you heard of anything fun? Suggestions appreciated! She needs to get the same thrill when the mailman comes the rest of us get.

One of the bakeries here sells cupcakes that have been frozen. I don’t think they taste as good 🙁 they’re much more dry after being frozen and then thawed.
