December bluum Box

This month’s bluum box theme was “Snow Angel” and only said “May Your Holidays Be Merry and Bright” and didn’t really clarify the theme. And in keeping with tradition, I couldn’t figure out how most of the items fit in with the “Snow Angel” theme.

First Look

Like last month, the box was nice and full and I always like that!

The Information Card

And here’s what was inside:

Angel Dear Ring Rattle ($6.00): When I first saw this I thought it was super baby’ish and that WB wouldn’t like it.  Ha!  WB’s going to love drooling all over this little guy.  He still doesn’t have any teeth yet, but he’s a drool machine!

Child’s Play Publishing Pocket Pals ($1.99): This doesn’t strike me as a baby item at all.  WB’s little fingers would never be able to open this.  I looked it up and it says ages two and up?  But regardless, I am guessing L will think it’s a fun cute little book, which it totally is.

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil ($10.99): Since the JM Argan Oil didn’t work for me, I am kind of looking forward to trying this.  I mean, heck, maybe this will make my skin fabulous?

Bonne Maman Preserves and Jellies ($0.37): I gotta admit, I found this to be an odd sample.  I mean chocolate or something sure.  But preserves?  Although odd, I know that L would love to put this on his bagels or pancakes or whatever.

Emergen-C Orange ($0.87): I’ve never tried this, but next time I need a little mid-afternoon pick me up, I am going to try this.  It’s suppose to enhance your energy levels and make you feel good.

Montagne Jenuesse, 7th Heaven Mud Mask ($2.99): This was suppose to come in the November box, but was held up due to the hurricane I believe?  I haven’t used a mask in a long time so I am looking forward to trying this!

Not including the mask (which I included in last month’s value), this month’s bluum box had a value of $20.22.  Although I will be the first to admit it, this month’s box contained a random assortment of items, I am happy with it.  I mean I bought my subscription though a Plum District deal and am paying $6/month, so what’s not to like?  No item will go unused that’s for sure.  Even at the regular price of $14.90/month, you are getting a deal!

Do you subscribe to bluum?  What’d you think of this month’s box? Want to learn more?  Click here to get more info or add your name to the waiting list.

Note: If you have a baby 13 months or older you will automatically begin getting the new bluum toddler box beginning in January.  It’s $24.95/month  and will introduce you to products up to $50 in value.  The price increase will not take effect until your next renewal, so if you just bought a six-month subscription and have a 13 month old, well, you’re going to be getting a deal for a while!!

I received mine today too! I love it all, and will be using the rattle for a baby shower gift as my daughter just turned two! Which by the way I am super excited about the toddler box!!! Also, I wanted to mention, I received two diaper creams instead of the Emergen- C. I am actually glad, because I have never heard of the brand before, (PINXAV, pronounced Pink Salve), and am excited to try it. Thank you for your review!
