Kloverbox is a great way to try premium, all-natural and organic products for beauty, health, nutrition and convenience. Each month you will receive the best natural, cruelty-free and organic beauty, lifestyle, nutrition and healthy home products. Boxes are $25/month and will have a value of a least double the cost of the box.
Kloverbox ships via USPS Priority Mail – generally between the 15th and 18th of the month. This month shipped much later than that due to some supplier issues.
I had peeked at some spoilers for this one so opening it wasn’t a big surprise. My first impression of this box in general was that it was different than other months.
The October 2015 Kloverbox includes the following items:
~Foxy & Winston Organic Kitchen Towel ($16): Super cute towel! I have never had an artichoke patterned towel before, but I do now. It’s hand-printed from the textile artist Jane Buck and is made form 100%GOTS Certified Organic Cotton Canvas.
~Red Flower – Hand & Face Towelettes ($1.43): Oooh, I love the Red Flower Brand and haven’t had a chance to try out their towelettes before! I prefer the Italian Blood Orange scent to the Wanderlust (it’s very floral), but I don’t think you can go wrong with any of their scents.
~Bee’s Wrap – Sandwich Wrap in Clover Print ($10): I love this idea (it’s a reusable sandwich wrap), but it’s got an odd smell to it. It’s not necessarily a bad smell, but I don’t want my sandwich to smell like it either. I wish I could figure out what it was. I thought maybe beeswax, but I don’t really know. I am going to try and wash it to see if I can get it out.
~Goodie Girl Cookies – Quinoa Chocolate Chip ($1): I was just talking about this brand earlier today. I love the cookies and love getting them in boxes. They are gluten-free and like the package says, they are “just the right amount of wrong”.
The October 2015 Kloverbox had a value of $28.43. That’s a pretty low value for Kloverbox and it just seemed like kind of a different month for them. I liked the contents, but was surprised to see such a non-skincare box from them. Maybe because the majority of boxes I have received from them have been mainly beauty focused?

I usually LOVE Kloverbox but this box was a let down. I know they had an issue with someone backing out at the last minute. It seems like they didn’t replace that item and just gave us a small box. Hopefully they’ll have better luck next month.
These companies could keep one item in stock in case somebody backs out last minute. Problem solved. Just add a small note in the box with the description, if it needs a description and the cards have already been printed.
Yikes, this isn’t impressive in the least!
Not a bad box maybe not a favorite but I appreciate they had issues with a product (keep us informed) and scrambled to get a nice box out that at least exceeded the cost which isn’t always the case with other boxes. For me it works since everything is new.
This box was my first Kloverbox, and it was a bit of a bummer. A smelly wax wrap, a cotton towel, cookies, and a couple of wipes? I get that there were difficulties, but why don’t they plan the boxes further in advance so that wrinkles don’t disrupt the process? Here’s hoping the November box is extra special, because this box definitely didn’t seem worth it.
This was my first Kloverbox. I am sad. A hand towel, sandwich bag, small bag of cookies and two foil packets. Where’s the beauty, the wow, the excitement? I’ll get one more box from them before cancelling, only based on past boxes which seem so much more special and pampering. Uhhh.
Hello All!
I rarely comment on reviews, although I always read the comments and take them to heart! The October issues were more than I decided to post in the update email. I have boxes (and themes) planned for the next four months and when a brand backs out it takes time and thought to replace a product and in this case it changed the theme all together. Additionally, the part I left out of the email and this is important… I received a product with parabens and immediately sent it back to the vendor. This product alone had a RV of $29, October was not worth a better “Value? for ingredients I won’t have in Kloverbox. October was light and the value was nowhere near typical but the box featured some of the most amazing women owned and operated companies and I am thrilled to support these brands! Thank you for your comments, opinions and constructive criticism!
Have a great day,
Kelly
Thanks Kelly for responding. I love my hedgehog hand towel and once I wash the Bees’ Wrap, I am actually going to use it in the kitchen to cover small bowls in the fridge rather than as a sandwich wrap. I would have loved to see a greater number of the red flower towelettes than just the 2, but we did get a discount coupon so I will gladly use that. While this month seemed “light” to many, it may be because you have spoiled us rotten on value in the past few months. (Hey, I am one who bought one of the extra September boxes to use as a Christmas gift for my mother in law!) Having said all that, I am going to use everything from this month and I am excited to see what next month brings.
PS – my kids inhaled the cookies – so that was a big hit in our house!
Yikes — this box is horrid!!!!
Thanks for alerting us to the smell of the sandwich wrap! I was going to gift it to get some use out of this box but luckily opened it first. The smell is rather intense. What’s the return policy on this? Just kidding.
I loved this box. It’s exactly what I want in this type of sub–an introduction to things/companies I haven’t heard of. While I agree that it’s “light” this month, I appreciate Kelly’s honesty as to why it happened. And, I expect some months will be better than others. The towel is adorable but the wrong color for me. However, It will make a perfect stocking stuffer for my mother and that makes me happier than if it were a good fit for me–it’s HARD to think of perfect Cmas gifts for a woman who has it all. I like that it was mostly lifestyle and the one beauty item was a sample. Two different scents to appeal to as many subscribers as possible and a code if you want more. I’m happy and excited to see what the next 5 months bring. Good job, Kelly.
