bluum November 2015 Subscription Box

bluum, is a monthly box of goodies for moms and babies.  Products are hand selected based on your child’s age (from pregnancy to preschool), gender and developmental stage.  I have gotten bluum for years and while the boxes have had their ups and downs I have generally been pretty pleased with them and have stuck with my subscription.

The Box

bluum ships via FedEx Smart Post and generally takes about a week to arrive.  I typically plan on receiving it during the second half of the month.

Second First Look

This was the third month that bluum allowed subscribers to customize their entire box. You don’t have to, but the option is there if you want to. I customized mine and I plan to as long as they allow it.

The Card

The card included in the bluum box doesn’t include product information. Rather, that information is sent to you in an e-mail on the day that you receive your box and it appears in your account online as well.  Since I selected my items I knew what was coming in our November 2015 bluum.

~Pirates Match Up Game & Puzzle ($8.99): These cards can be used to play a matching game or can be used as a puzzle!  They are made out of a thick card stock and seem like they will be sturdy enough to withstand WB’s roughness.

~Color My Bath Color Changing Tablets (~$7): We’ve have bought similar ones in the past and the boys love them.  I suspect L will even want to take baths instead of showers now that he knows we have these.  They don’t stain the tub (or the kids) and really work.  You only need one pellet for a full tub of water, but if you want to deepen the color you can use two.  We like to throw two different colors in to see what color we’ll end up with too.

~Tag-Along Color by Number – Farm ($6.95): I think I picked this more for me than for the kids.  Instead of a paint by number, this is a color by number.  I’m going to use this as a stocking stuffer for WB.  He loves coloring and drawing so I am hoping he enjoys this as much as I would have when I was a kid!

~Mudpuppy Blueprint Sketchbook ($10.99):  As I just mentioned, WB is all about coloring and drawing and whenever L sits down to do homework WB sits down and colors.  This is just a blank spiral sketchbook that he can paint or color or draw in.

All totaled I came up with a value of $33.93 for the November 2015 bluum box.  Considering that I customized it myself, I am super happy with it.  I love that bluum is now allowing subscribers to do this!
