The Boodle Box (Two) October 2015 Subscription Box

The Boodle Box is a monthly subscription box full of adorable accessories and beauty products that encourage girls of all ages (boxes are broken down into a 5-10 age group and a 11+ age group) to uncover new things and discover themselves in the process! This box is for the 11+ age group, but you don’t have to be a tween or teen to enjoy it.  I am well over that age and love it!

The Box

The Boodle Box ships via USPS. Boxes arrive at the very beginning of the month (or at the end of the previous month), which I absolutely love.

First Look

The first look didn’t reveal much, but I could tell it was Halloween themed.

The Information Card

The October 2015 The Boodle Box (Two) theme was “BOO-tiful Boodle” and included the following items:

~Chevron Cinch Sack ($16.50): Any subscription box that dares to customize an item gets a huge round of applause from me. It just seems SO daunting and I am always so impressed. This bad is cute is a nice size to toss a change of gym clothes in. Note: I didn’t realize it, but the box included a notecard (I must have tossed it on accident) that indicated the customization was a special blogger “treat” for Halloween and that customizations were not included for subscribers.  I apologize for the confusion!

~Patterned Paper Straws ($2.99): We seem to go through a lot of straws at our house and these are super cute.  The colors are perfect for Halloween and the boys will love them.

~Spooky Bath Fizzies ($3.29): While I do have big plans to take a long relaxing bath Saturday night, I am going to let WB have this spooky bath fizzy in his next bath. He’ll get a huge kick out of taking a bath with this.

~No-Crease Patterned Pony Ties ($5): These just about match the straws!  I love these types of hair ties and always always have a hair tie of some sort on my wrist. I have found though that with these types of hair ties I only get a few uses out of them.  My hair always gets caught in them (not in a painful way – just in a loose hair way) and they get icky.  I still love them though.

~Sincerely by Harvey Prince Mini-Roller ($21): I know I said I was getting tired of seeing Harvey Prince in subscription boxes, but I really do love their scents. Sincerely is described as “invigorating and mystical” and has notes of Indonesian Clove Bud, Australian Sandalwood, Moroccan Rose, French Bergamot, Indian Tuberose, Japanese Orange Flower, Lebanese Cedarwood, Turkish Cyclamen, South African Freesia.  It’s a really beautiful scent and I will happily use it.

~Halloween Nail Wraps ($5.99): Okay, so obviously these (and this box in general) is designed for an audience much younger than myself, but I adore these.  I probably won’t use the entire set at once, but I thinking using one to two as accent nails will be awesome.e

~Charm Nail File ($3.99): Cute and handy!  The skull charm on this nail file is awesome.  I don’t know that I have ever seem a charm with a nail file.

~Milk Duds Lip Balm & Halloween Treats: The box also included candy lip balm (I received Milk Duds but I am guessing there will be a variety of items sent out) and a few different fun Halloween treats.  These aren;t listed on the information card and are, instead, just bonus items included in the box.

Halloween Treats

All totaled I came up with a value of $58.76 for the October 2015 The Boodle Box.  I always enjoy this box and their selections and really think it’s a fun box for ANY age – not just tweens and teens.
