I didn’t know what was happening in this first look, but I wasn’t sure I liked it. At least not all of it anyway.
Our October 2015 Five Four Club shipment included the following pieces:
~Sterling Scarf: This scarf I love. It’s lightweight and soft and has minimal fringe on it. I love the color block / striped pattern and just about everything else about this.
~Chester Jacket: And then there was this. I am not even sure I know where to start? It’s a longer lightweight jacket (65% cotton / 35% polyester) that’s just so not B. It’s got a big slit in the back, covered buttons and just some odd pleating / flap in the front. It looks like a lab coat. It’s pretty fair to say that this is going to end up getting donated.
Because of the coat this month was pretty much a miss for us. I need to update B’s profile to say no outerwear. I don’t know we’ve ever gotten a coat from Five Four Club that he loves so it’s probably time to stop getting them.

That’s a good question. I really don’t know. It was a postcard with a kind of fill in the blank message on the back. It make it seem like Five Four was going on a road trip or having a road trip theme of some sort???
Ha! That is basically the exact package I got this month. Only my jacket is khaki coloured. Looks like the jacket might be TOO long for the wearer? I will have to see how it looks on me.
I’ve received about 4 outerwear items from five four so far (8 months in) and gotten some use out of them. More than I thought I would.
I got this same package. Im so confused on how to wear this jacket. Any ideas or tips?
So this month was my 1st Five Four Club subscription and we got this same coat. As I unboxed it I burst into laughter and handed my husband what I called a “woman’s coat in his size”. He tried it on and it looked ridiculous so yeah, no go. We did get the Waverly Button Down shirt and it was a good fit although it seems a bit course and cheap. We will wash it and see.
