Loot Crate is a monthly subscription box full of hand-picked, awesome geek and gamer products. Each month, for less than $20, you’ll receive 6-8 products which are guaranteed to have a value of $30 or more.
Loot Crate ships via FedEx Smart Post and took about a week to arrive. You can expect to receive this box around the 20th of the month.
As you can see, my box had a rough road this month! I was worried that something may be damaged, but it was just a few smushed boxes.
The September 2015 Loot Crate theme was “Summon” and included the following epic items:
~Exclusive Supernatural 1967 Chevy Impala by Greenlight Collectibles: This is a 1:43 scale replica of Dean Winchester’s ride from the TV show and features its original Kansas license plates as seen in the flashback episode “In the Beginning”. I personally have never seen Supernatural (that likely doesn’t come as a surprise based on all the Teen Mom / Bachelorette viewing I do), but even if I did, there is no way I would be able to get this car away from WB. No way.
~Homer Simpson Golden Buddha: Honestly, what’s not to love about this? A golden Homer Simpson Buddha? Awesome. I will be rubbing his belly for luck!
~Pokemon Laplander Hat ($12): So silly! This is an officially licensed knit cap and obviously will come in handy this winter. Between L and WB we will get lots of use out of out it and will look adorable in it.
~Hearthstone Foam Stress Ball by Blizzard Entertainment: I am not familiar with Hearthstone either, but I am a big fan of stress balls. I love them all. No real idea why, but I really really enjoy them. The more unique the better too!
~Hearthstone Collectible Coin and Card Pack Code: This card was originally offered as a Blizzcon 2014 exclusive item. It includes a download for free play and a card pack as well. I will give this to L and see what he thinks. It seems like the type of thing he’d enjoy so we’ll give it a go!
I didn’t do a full cost breakdown on this box (I couldn’t find everything online), but I enjoyed it! It wasn’t my favorite box ever from Loot Crate, but it had a little something for everyone in it which was fun.
