First Look

BaptuBox is fairly new, so I wasn’t 100% sure what to expect with this one.  It looked organized and put together though which made me happy.

WB and I worked this one together. Well, since he’s only 3 we actually worked on all of them together.  He washouts interested in the scissors and the cutting with this project. Luckily there was a lot of grass that needed to be cut out to put around the edges the tray.  I mainly built the flowers, but WB did assist with some glueing.  We liked this project and thought it was easy and fun, but I think it would have been even better had there been some glue dots to stick the flowers on the bottom of the tray.  Ours kept sliding around and we had to be careful not to mess with anything as we were putting the grass pieces in.

Ahh, the balloon car. We were so excited about this one and found the instructions clear and easy to follow, however, we couldn’t get it to work! We tried the trouble shooting tips included in the booklet, but still nothing.  Our car just wouldn’t move.  I am going to keep it put together so L can check it out.  Maybe he’ll be able to shed some light on it?

The third project was the butterfly ring.  It mainly involved coloring the butterfly, cutting it out and forming it into the ring.  You were supposed to use glue for this one, but I ended up using tape instead.  I was very impressed with WB’s coloring skills on this. When he pays attention he can stay in the lines pretty nicely (I did help a little with this though).
