Wantable Fitness Edit June 2015 Subscription Box

Wantable Fitness Edit is Wantable’s newest subscription service. I believe this is my third box from them and so far I have kept at least one thing from each box. Each month your fitness editor will hand select 5 fitness pieces which you can try on at home before you buy. Item prices are based on your personal preferences but usually range from $20-$60 each. There is a $20 styling fee and you can keep the pieces you like (the $20 styling fee will be deducted from the cost of the items you keep) and return the ones you don’t. You are only charged for the items you keep and if you end up keeping everything you get a 30% discount on all the items (or a 20% discount if you keep 3-4 items)!

I liked the first look of this one.  Lots of fun colors and patterns.

My June 2015 Wantable Fitness Edit contained the following items:

~Soybu Angie Tank – Pink Halftone ($46): Cute tank, but I don’t like the space it leaves on the side. I also thought it ran a little small.  Verdict: Returned.

~Colosseum Motivation Jacket – Blue ($89): I absolutely love the color of this jacket and the hood and the sleeves and basically everything – except for the actual fit of the body itself.  It’s too boxy and not long enough.  I really wanted this one to be a keeper because I haven’t gotten a ton of jackets from Wantable, but it’s not. Verdict: Returned.

~Soybu Allegro Capri – Mod Nouveau ($29): I love the patter on these, but the scrunched leg at the bottom?  Not so much.  I thought it was fun that Soybu items in here came with a hair tie though.  I like those “free” little additions on items.Verdict: Returned.

~Soybu Kyra Tank – Barcelona ($30): There’s nothing really wrong with this tank, but there’s nothing really I love about it either.  It was TTS and the “Tech Mesh” fabric was nice, but I am going to pass. Verdict: Returned.

~Pink Lotus Performance Capri – Purple / Green ($74): Well, Wantable does know how to get me.  Crazy print pants.I love these and I love the solid pink section on them as well.  Totally fantastic! Verdict: Kept.

All totaled my pieces had a value of $268.  Had I kept them all it would have cost me $167.20 ($268 – $20 styling fee – $80.40 keep all 30% discount).  I wish I liked everything enough to keep it all because I love that savings, but I don’t.  I am going to try and get really specific on the Wantable feedback form and see if that helps to get more pieces I do love.

Do you subscribe to Wantable?  If so, what’d you get in your box (fitness, makeup or accessories or intimates) this month?

I guess I need to get out more. I had no idea that exercise clothing cost so much! $74 for capris?? Yikes! I don’t know that I would even spend that on pants for an office job!

I agree, Jayne. Those are retail prices. Realistically, pieces go on sale at stores almost right away and then get clearanced by the next season. I don’t pay more than $20 for workout clothes that have retail value of over $100. I coupon, shop clearance, and shop at TJMaxx. For $74, the pants better be making me look like a supermodel…and better be made in USA.
