Target Beauty Box Review – “Honor Roll”

My Target “Honor Roll” Beauty Box arrived over the weekend! Target Beauty Boxes are $5 each and are available through Target’s website for a limited time only. The two latest “Back to College” boxes (this being one of them) went on sale on Monday (July 13th) and are already sold out. I am not sure if there is any set schedule on when they release boxes, but they did them in April, June and July of 2015.

The Box

Target Beauty Box ships via USPS and took just a few days to arrive to me. As I mentioned in my other review, my last Target Beauty Box order (in June) went through on the Target website, but ended up being canceled because they were out of stock. I didn’t have any issues at all with this one though.

I am always impressed with the presentation of Target Beauty Boxes.  They package them well in sturdy boxes and are fun to open.

The Information Card

The Target “Honor Roll” Beauty Box included the following college essentials:

~Bathery Delicate Pouf ($1.99): I was just thinking the other day how I needed a new pouf so the timing is perfect!

~John Frieda Luxurious Volume 7-Day Treatment: I have gotten a sample of this stuff in another box and liked it. You shampoo your hair like normal and then put this in and leave it in for a few minutes.  I thought it really did help to pump up the volume on my hair and am happy to get more.

~Olay White Strawberry Body Wash: I love the smell of this! It’s a great little travel sized body wash and I will certainly use it.

~NYX Butter Gloss Strawberry Parfait ($4.99): This gloss is great!  It’s been a few subscription boxes and it does it’s job.  It’s glossy, but not sticky and gives off just the right amount of color.

~Goody Ouchless Elastics: Love these.  They were in the other Target Beauty Box and I’m always okay with getting more.

~CoverGirl Outlast All-Day Primer: This preps skin, reduces the size of your pores and makes your foundation last longer.  I have to say, I like it alone and not jus under a foundation.  It works under BB cream as well.

~Burt’s Bees White Tea Facial Wipes: These are another great travel bag item!  Or a good item to throw in your beach bag to help freshen up with.

I didn’t do a full breakdown on this box, but the Target website values it at $20.  I think these boxes are so worth the $5 cost. Just like the other one did, this box also included a $3 off $15 Target Beauty purchase (it expires on 8.23.15) which of course I will use as well! As I mentioned this box is now sold out, but I will post as soon as Target releases another Beauty Box!
