First Look

The box doesn’t include an information card, but the July 2015 Premium PowerUp Box contained the following:

~Ant-Man Bobblehead ($11.99): L spied this as soon as I opened the box and claimed it as his. He saw Ant-Man and loved it and was super excited to add this to his superhero room.

~Marvel Projector Keychain ($7.95): This features a Deadpool logo that you can use as a flashlight or project it onto the ceiling.  Again, L loves it.

~Marvel Captain America T-Shirt (~$10): I believe Power Up Box sent out a few variations of Marvel t-shirts this month, but I am very happy with this one!  It’s not too over the top and B will totally wear it!

~DC Comics Justice League of America Comic ($5.99): The art in these DC Comic Books are amazing.  I didn’t get one of the special fold-out covers (1 in 100 had them), but it’s still awesome.  L now has quite a little comic book collection on his hands.

~Avengers Age of Ultron Playing Card ($7.58): Super cool.  I have to say though, it would take me forever to play a card game using these because I would be so busy looking at the pictures.

~Candy Shot Glass ($3): You can pour a drink in these, toast, drink and then eat them. I am (obviously) not going to give the kids a shot in this, but I am going to let them use it as a little drinking glass.  They will get such a kick out of it!

~Batman Dog Tags ($6.99): I believe that there were a few different varieties of these sent out as well.  We love the Batman ones and L declared them “cool”. They are heavy and the pop-out Batman is really cool.

~Avengers Assemble Thor Plushie (~$5): It took me a minute to figure out who this was, but then I remembered Chris Hemsworth!  Duh!  WB actually wants this guy so it’s all his!

All totaled I came up with an (estimated) value of $58.50 for the July 2015 PowerUp Box!  PowerUp Box doesn’t do monthly themes, but I think they tend to learn towards more mainstream items than some of the other boxes.  Maybe it’s just more super hero / retro type stuff because I always seem to recognize it and L loves it!
