~Good morning! Let’s see, what’s going on here.  Yesterday was Walk n’ Roll to school day at L’s school (they do it twice a year) which was fun!  We should totally do it more now that it’s getting nice out.  My cousin (and a few of her kids) are coming into town this weekend for the color run which L is super super excited about.  WB has been sleeping better which I am super thankful for.  The children’s allergy medication has been doing him wonders.

~The Birchbox pre-Sneak Peek box link seems to be working.  If you to check it out, click here (make sure you are logged in first) and it will take you to your May box page.  A word of warning though, this page MAY change and nothing is final before the 10th of the month.

~I have quite a few boxes still rolling in this week including Yogi Surprise, Olfactif, Orange Glad, SprezzaBox, ScentBird, Birchbox, Dottiebox, Fancy Mother’s Day Box, Allure Beauty Thrills and Fabletics for sure. I can see that the label on my May POPSUGAR box has been created, but no movement on that one yet.

~My mom finished up the pillows we (she) made out of my Lilly for Target Hammock case. They turned out SO good! So good! The pillows on the top of the picture are the actual Lilly for Target ones and then the middle and bottom ones are the ones my mom made. I think the pom-poms on here were too ambitious for a first attempt at sewing for me, but I have another sewing project up my sleeve that I should actually be able to help with.

~I am not sure why I am surprised by this, but Kylie Jenner has admitted she used lip fillers. Didn’t she deny it for the longest time saying she was just really good with lip liner or something like that? Anyway, maybe Instagram can stop doing that lip challenge since that’s obviously not how she got them.

~The Summer KEEP Collective line launches tomorrow and OMG it’s all so adorable.  They have fun new silicone brands, adorable new charms (PINEAPPLES), new pendant necklaces and a bunch of other fun stuff. I’ll post a picture of my latest stuff on Instagram once I get it in.

That’s about it from here! What are you doing this weekend?  Any big plans?

The pillows look amazing! Are they for inside or outside. I just lol’d to the Kylie Jenner statement. I can’t believe people believed it was lip liner. It’s too bad kids actually hurt themselves trying to look like her “without fillers” like she claimed. What a role model.

I guess she thought she was being clever with the whole “I’ve never gone under the knife” thing. Well, no kidding, but no one gets lips like that from a scalpel, it comes from a needle.

    Do you sell Keep Collective?

Sorry to bring this up again but I just discovered the LLB controversy on MUT and MSA and… OMG. OMG re: the stuff LLB said. OMG re: the outpouring of hate LLB is getting. Just OMG. I’ve felt that people have, in the past, unfairly ripped them apart but I can’t believe the nastiness in the email from LLB. I don’t even know how to react but I’m terrified that (1) they’re going to cancel my subscription and/or (2) they’ll go out of business. I really like their product.

And, incidentally, the whole circumstance is why people really should treat email like they’re putting something in writing. If you’re typing something you don’t want on the front page of the newspaper you should stop and delete. Everyone has nasty thoughts sometimes. Don’t put them in writing.

I kind of feel bad for LLB. i feel like they are very passionate about what they offer and it came thru in the letters in the boxes (i took a break from subscribing because i mounted up too much stuff). And i also feel that some not so favorable comments and or reviews hit them too hard personally. And it was acted on. Its a shame because they have some amazing things to offer. Im still blown away about the Dowton abby box.
I think, its not ok to respond the way it was responded to. Maybe the customer isnt always right but the owner needs to remain fully professional. And damage control and public apology should be considered.

Yeah, I agree with you on all points.

It’s a pretty safe bet you and KEEP will be getting all of my money in the near future.

  7. Jenny

The little lace box email’s remind me of the Sony’s emails, don’t put something so rude in a email that God himself would be ashamed to claim you.
