B’s March 2015 Five Four Club arrived this afternoon and I knew that he wouldn’t mind if I opened it up for him.

If you aren’t familiar with them, Five Four Club is an exclusive monthly men’s clothing subscription service. Each month you will receive an apparel package worth $120+ selected for you based on your style preferences.

The Package

Five Four Club ships via USPS.  They previously shipped via FedEx, but made the switch to USPS in the last month or so.

First Look

Five Four Club is always a surprise.  We have received everything from t-shirts to button downs to jeans to hoodies.  You really never know what it will be.  Our profile isn’t very specific, so maybe thats’ why we never know.

The Information Sheet

B’s March 2015 Five Four Club included the following items:

~Puente Polo Shirt ($50):  The information card says that this is black, but I swear it’s navy.  I swear.  That dress wasn’t blue and black, but this shirt is blue and it has a black tag.  If B comes home and says something different I am going to the eye doctor.  He doesn’t wear a ton of polo shirts, but every once in a while in the summer he’ll wear one to work and this is be a good one.

~Fernhill Jeans ($78): I love the wash on these, but I am not sure about the waist.  B’s super picky about his jeans so if there was a “no jean” option on Five Four, we’d probably pick it.

All totaled the March 2015 Five Four Club had a value of $128.  We paid $60 for the box which is $30/item.  This one isn’t my favorite.  The clothes are nice, but they aren’t really “B”.  However, I said that about the last few boxes as well and B wears those pieces all the time, so maybe it will turn out the same for this one.

I dunno…that shirt looks white and gold to me 😉

Seriously though–it’s totally navy!!! Look at the difference between the shirt and the black tag!

Yeah I agree! That shirt is navy! I’m still waiting on my February club shipment. Apparently when they switched carriers our shipment got cancelled and they had to uh, well. Idk what they had to go but it didn’t ship out until Monday of this week.

Obviously I meant “do” not “go”. Way to go not proof-reading

I just got my March shipment. Similar package, but my shirt was a Navy button down… not too bad until I look at the sleeves. They are BLACK. Yes … It is a NAVY shirt with long BLACK sleeves. ..REALLY? I also do not like the fit of the jeans. Too loose on top (waist) and too tight in the middle (thighs/knees).

This was my first shipment from them, and I am already considering dropping the service.

I dont know why this is not more advertised (I bet FiveFour doesnt want a lot of people knowing) but even though you cant choose what to get, YOU can request which items to avoid! It took a couple of months and some trial and error but now every single package i receive is perfect because I dont get stuff that I dont need. I have personally opted out of Jeans, Polos, Blazers, Sweaters and even solid color button-downs (but not patterned ones).
