The February 2015 Lip Monthly package included the following items:
~So Susan Lip Dome (Black Currant) ($12): I was really impressed by how this stayed on. Sometimes lip crayons aren’t the most long-lasting products, but that wasn’t the case at all here. I didn’t see a ton of plumping, but that didn’t bother me.
~Be a Bombshell Lipgloss (Hooked) ($14): “Hooked” is a dark mauve with a light shimmer. I’ve always found Be a Bombshell glosses to give a ton of shine without being at all sticky. I don’t know that I would pay retail price for them, but they appear in a lot of subscription boxes so luckily I never have to.
~Jelly Pong Pong Supermodel Stain ($16): I didn’t realize it until now, but Jelly Pong Pong and So Susan are related companies. I love the Jelly Pong Pong line and this little set is awesome. It works for both cheeks and lips and has colors that will flatter anyone.
~Cargo Eye Shadow (Green Bay) ($16): Now I am not sure about this color on me personally, but I have a few friends who are much more adventurous than I am and will love it.
~Bonus Item: Color Color White Gold Shadow & Highlighter Mousse ($5.99): This wasn’t on the information card, but I know that Lip Monthly sends bonus items for doing video reviews so I am guessing it’s an example of the type of items you receive for that. I love this shadow and thought the shimmer was fantastic! For a $5.99 item I was really impressed.
All totaled I came up with a value of $58 for the February 2015 Lip Monthly bag. I didn’t include the City Color shadow in my calculation because it was a bonus item. For a $10/month bag the value on this one is great! I know there have been some issues in the past with Lip Monthly sending discontinued items, but all of these items are currently available through the brand’s websites so that don’t appear to be an issue here anymore.

I’m going to give them a try for 10 a month. I’m such a junkie with these boxes but love lip stuff. I truly hope they don’t let me down..I’ve heard a few negative things sooooo I’m leary….yet, going to give them a chance. I know other boxes sometimes got rough starts. I hope I don’t have to end up cancelling my card and getting a new one lol! So far the coupon seemed to work & I was not double charged at this time – I will do month to month with boxes & 1st5 is the one to get 5 bucks off. It worked (bank account shows just $5 so they’ve honored it) and I’ll see what happens from here. I’ll report back if something goes array. fingers crossed!
