The Box

I believe that this is the first box Gem La La shipped.  The box was quite heavy so I was expected lots of jewels in here!

Second First Look

Ohh, pretty!  As soon as I saw the black, white and gold card I knew that I was going to love this box.  It’s so me!  The box didn’t include an information card, but I was able to find names for a lot of the pieces online.  Here is what was included in the Spring 2015 Gem La La:

~Silver Modern Glass Necklace: This was a heavy piece!  I think everyone who sees you wearing pieces like these knows they aren’t real (or maybe they don’t), but you also don’t want them to have glue hanging off or anything like that.  All of these pieces looked perfect!

~Silver Bejeweled Necklace: This is a statement piece for sure, but I could see it working well with a sweater for the office or with a strapless dress at night.  I got this one tangled when I took it out of the package and thought oh no, it’s going to break when I yank it apart, but it’s very strong and withstood the pressure!

~Watermelon Gem Stone Necklace: I made up the name of this one.  What can I sat, it reminded me of a watermelon.  In a good way.

~Gold Pave Studs: These are about the size of a penny so they aren’t too big or too small.  They are just right!  And out of everything in this box I bet these are what I end up wearing most.

~White Clover Czech Stone Champagne Earrings: I am not a huge fan of these.  I like the shape and the colors and the stones, but for whatever reason I don’t like it all together.

~Bangle: I have a few bracelets that are fairly similar and really like them.  They work with everything, but work better for going out for me.  I just can’t get used to a bracelet clanking at a desk when you are typing.

~The Gem La La Tote: All shipments aslo include a stylish Gem La La tote.  Can you see the word Oh La La without saying it out loud? I can’t!

I didn’t do an individual cost breakdown on this box, but it included 6 pieces which breaks down to just over $7 per items.  I think that’s fantastic!  Plus you get that adorable tote!

This looks promising, especially if the pieces are well made. I am not a huge fan of the big jewelry that is out now (and I grew up in the 80s so I can’t figure out why since I wore giant jewelry then….LOL!), but I am intrigued.

HaHa, I just came here to say “This looks Promising” and basically the same thing as Jayne. I am not really crazy about these items, but I really like the idea of a quarterly box of jewelry. The only problem is having to wait so long to see what the next one will turn out to be and if it suits me better.
