Austin Lloyd March 2015 Subscription Box

Austin Lloyd, is a subscription box of educational toys for children aged 3 and under. They aim to take the guess work out of choosing toys that your child will enjoy, while also gaining skills that aide in their overall development. Each box contains 4-5 high-quality educational toys and typically at least one book.

The Boxes

Austin Lloyd ships via USPS Priority Mail and took just a few days to arrive to me.  Instead of just one box, the March 2015 Austin Lloyd shipped in two separate boxes.  They sent out an e-mail letting subscribers know to expect two shipments because they selected toys that were a little larger than normal.

Because of the two shipments things weren’t packed as neatly as they normally are. I’d rather have a box with fantastic contents than one that is perfectly packaged, so it’s not a big deal.

The Information Card

The box includes a general information card about the Play Level (we selected 2-3 years of age for WB – you can read more about them here) along with some general information on how your child is playing at this age. In addition, the box also contains individual information cards. The March 2015 Austin Lloyd theme was “Farm Friends” and

~Janod Funny Magnet Farm ($19.99): Love these!  WB barely let me get these pictures taken before he snagged them.  They are stackable block animals and can be mixed and matched to make funky different animals or you can stack them “normally”. WB is a big fan already!

~Plan Toys Chicken Racer ($12): This was actually a gift with purchase with Citrus Lane once and has appeared in a few Mystery Boxes.  I have always thought this guy was adorable, but I feel like it might be a little young for WB.  Don’t get me wrong, he likes it, but I don’t think I would have bought it on my own.

~HABA Cow Carola Picture Cubes Puzzle ($26.59):  This is a puzzle, a game and blocks all in one!  WB was stacking them and L was trying to talk him into doing the puzzles.  It wasn’t working.

~My Farm Friends ($5.16): I can only hope that this adorable book will break WB from insisting we read “Crack in the Track” every single night, but I suspect we’ll just read this and then Crack in the Track ;).

My Farm Friends

All totaled I came up with a value of $63.55 for the March 2015 Austin Lloyd box.  As usual everything was super high quality and very well thought out.  I can’t say enough good things about Austin Lloyd.  They put together such a great box!
