My November 2014 BOXYCHARMÂ arrived today. I subscribed to this one a few months ago after seeing a few months of fantastic boxes!
If you aren’t familiar, BOXYCHARM is a beauty box subscription that surprises you each month with the best beauty products from popular and chic brands. It’s $21/month and includes full size and luxury size beauty samples from their team’s preferred well-known brands.
BOXYCHARMÂ ships via USPS and took only two days to arrive.
I knew what this month’s BOXYCHARMÂ would include, but I didn’t know which variations I would get.
The November 2014 BOXYCHARMÂ theme was “Sparkle and Shine” and included the following items to help you add a little twinkle in your eye and plenty of glitz and glamour for the holiday season:
~MicaBeauty Eye Primer ($44.95): This is said to help even out skin tone as well as extending and intensifying your mineral eye shadows, without creasing, smearing, or fading. I did think it evened things out nicely, but I wouldn’t pay $44.95 for it.
~OFRA Cosmetics Pressed Blush ($19.96): This blush can be applied wet or dry and while I thought the color looked like it was too much in the package, it was much softer on. Â Well, if you don’t use a ton of it anyway. Â I also thought the compact itself was cool. Â It’s got a clear top so you don’t have to flip it open to see the color, but you can also open it from the bottom and there is a mirror under there!
~Tarina Tarantino Eyelicity Glitter Liner (Glitter Mist) ($16): So while I think this is really fun and cute, I have no idea what I will do with glitter eyeliner. Â Maybe just put a little bit on my lids? Â A tiny bit for a little sparkle? Â Not too sure.
~Kevin.Murphy Color.Bug ($18.35): I am quite pleased I got the white color bug because it can also be used as dry shampoo. Â I don’t recall exactly what other colors were sent out, but I know purple was one. Other than using it for crazy hair day for L at school, I have no clue what else I would have done with it.
~bellapierre Shimmer Powder (Tin Man) ($14.99): This probably isn’t a color I would have picked out on my own, but I will for sure use it.  It’ll add shimmer without being too much.
All totaled I came up with a value of $114.25 for the November 2014 BOXYCHARM. Â The box is $21/month, so the value was well over the cost, but I wasn’t overly excited with it. Â I’m not disappointed, but nothing jumped out and wow’ed me from it either. Â I am super glad I got the white color.bug though!

I have some shimmery/glittery eyeliner and I put it underneath my eye–it makes my mascara/bottom lashes stand out and gives me a kind of “doll” look.
I’m with you, this isn’t very impressive considering what the previous months were like. October and November are misses for me overall. I feel like we already got a bellapierre shimmer just recently with Boxycharm but I could be wrong. Mine hasn’t shipped yet.
I can’t recall if we did or not? I know it has come in some box recently!
I was really disappointed with this box, especially compared to previous BoxyCharm boxes. I cancelled my sub. This kind of inconsistency drives me nuts.
Compared to the last few months, this one wasn’t great. I hope December makes up for it! I’m giving the hair chalk to my goddaughter 1. Because she loves hair chalk and 2. It is useless for me since my hair is already pink! Purple won’t show up at all, lol. And I’m so stocked up on blushes from Ipsy – I will be rosy until the day I die.
Also, I love the eye primer but holy crap that’s pricey!
I bet she will love the hair chalk. I would have loved that as a kid!
I enjoyed my Boxycharm this month. I did get the purple color bug and my girls were excited, so over the holiday we will have hair color fun. I also loved the Bellapierre I got a white/pearl shimmer I LOVE IT. I do. I love it. and the eye base is wonderful since i have hooded lids that crease terribly, it held my shadow on all day solid, no creasing! the price point is high tho. and my blush compact is the clear one, and doesnt open on the bottom, but i do like the clear anyway. For me Boxycharm is offering things that i would not buy, and I am enjoying anyway, so I’m very happy right now.
I didn’t even know there was variations to the blush! I will admit I could NOT figure out how to open it at first!
After seeing some of the spoilers this month i was planning on being disappointed but this is amazing! I love every single one of those products and if I don’t think I”ll use them they will be great gift additions 🙂
