Every once in a while Target offers beauty boxes full of samples to test out and enjoy. All of the contents are listed prior to purchase, so you knew exactly what you will be receiving, which is great. I don’t believe the boxes are released on any sort of schedule and I think this was the second of the year? This most recent Target Beauty Box was $7 (shipping was free) and contained items with an individual value of up to $28.
The Target Beauty Box shipped via USPS. I ordered it on 10.6, it shipped on 10.10 and I received it on 10.16.
For some reason I could not remember what was in this box. I skipped the last one they offered, but even though I couldn’t recall exactly what everything was in here, I did know that as soon as I saw it I wanted to get it.
The box included an information card with product details and also a few coupons, including one for $3 off a $15 Target Beauty purchase. Here is what was included:
~Elnett Extra Strong Hold Hairspray ($6.69): I have never heard of this hairspray before and I don’t know that I would have guessed it was L’Oreal branded. The can has a cool 70’s vibe to it and it works great. As for the smell it sounds like some people hate it, but I thought it just smelled like old school hair spray. I have for sure smelled worse!
~Fekkai Professional Blowout Hair Refresher Dry Shampoo ($7.99): I have never tried Fekkai’s dry shampoo so I was really excited to see this in the box. I love dry shampoo and am curious to see if it will win over my all-time favorite, which is Suave Dry Shampoo.
~Laneige BB Cushion Sample: This is the coolest sample! I am not sure how to price it, but it includes three shades and a puff to apply it. I have tried a few BB cushions and think they are really cool.
~NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil ($4.49): This can be used as either an eyeliner or a shadow. Either way I don’t know what I will do with a white eyeshadow or eyeliner, so I will pass it on to a friend.
~L’Oreal Colour Riche Extraordinaire Lipstick (Nude Ballet) ($8.99): I thought this was an actual lipstick, but it’s more of a gloss. Well, it’s got a gloss applicator anyway. It’s a great color and has a really nice shine.
All totaled I came up with a value of $28.16 for the Target Beauty Box and that doesn’t even include the BB Cushion! A fabulous deal for $7! Wouldn’t it be fun if they did these on a more consistent basis?

White eyeliner does an amazing job of making eyes look less tired! Just use it in your waterline and see it work it’s magic. As someone who doesn’t sleep as much as I should, it makes me look much less like I’m running on fumes!
I do not get nearly enough sleep either.
Girl, do not give that white NYX it’s a holy grail product. You can use it as a base (blend well) if you are wearing eyeshadow (gives you much more pigmentation out of the shadow), or use it in the inner corners of your eyes and blend – it looks so amazing and gives your eye makeup (even if you don’t wear much) a little more oomph. Let me see if I can find a pic of what I mean…

Yes, I was about to say this – don’t give away that pencil, use it as an eyeshadow base! Magic!

I use that same NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil underneath other shadows sometimes. It makes your eyeshadow stand out more.
I am also a huge fan of dry shampoo, especially the Suave! I know I’ve seen you post about LUSH before – have you tried the “No Drought” shampoo by LUSH? It is a powder instead of spray, smells amazing, and it has forever changed my dry shampoo obsession! It’s a little pricey, but the last bottle I purchased lasted about 8 months (I use at least once a day, even when clean for volume). Just thought I would share! 🙂

Mine came in the mail today!! My favorites are the hairspray and the dry shampoo. Those are products I use regularly. I’m so excited that this box was only $7 and the value is four times that much.

I received my Target box today. I really liked the items although it wasn’t all for me. I don’t know about the dry shampoo..but we will see. The NYX eye pencil is mainly for me as a base for my eyeshadows. I have the milk color and I use it if I want to use a bright eye shadow or a shadow I want to pop out more. Yeah so don’t give it up!! lol Overall its a really good box.
I am cracking up with all the white eyeliner love. Who knew???
I bought and sent that box to my daughter at college. As of yesterday, she didn’t get it yet. I think she’s going to love everything in that box–especially the white eyeliner! Now I just have to get a “Hip Kit” sent for Halloween and I’ll be a cool mom this month. Lol.
