You know the drill, I am stealing Jen’s Sunday Sentiments button and idea and making it mine tonight!
~Why do weekends always have to go so fast? We did get a ton of stuff accomplished though, so that was nice. L was lucky enough to get to spend the night at his Nana and Papa’s house on Friday night, so after WB went to bed B and I had movie night. We watched “Are You Here“. Meh. It was okay. I was aiming for Mom’s Night Out, but got denied. Â Today was “back-to-school” haircuts (better late than never) and the cider mill. Â Not a bad weekend by any means.
~The Neiman Marcus Beauty Event is going on now through 9.21.14!  If you need to stock up on some products, the time is now.  Neimans has one of the nicest Gift With Purchase bags out here and it’s free with your beauty purchase of $125+.  On top of that lots of the individual brands also have gift with purchases going on as well.  I have my eye on some GlamGlow (I’ve never tried the THIRSTYMUD) and the Lollia stuff!.  And don’t forget that you can go through ebates for an additional 8% back.
~The Lions game didn’t go so well today (for the Lions anyway) so I now have my eyes set to Miss America tonight! Â Is anyone else planning on watching?
~I think I am going to start entering giveaways again. Â I used to enter them ALL the time (I did a post about it here) and pretty much stopped in the last few years. Â I wouldn’t enter them again like I used too (I was a mad woman), but maybe just the instant win ones because those were my favorite. Â Does anyone else “sweep”? Â What have you won lately?
~This BuzzFeed Target list is probably the best one I have seen lately. Â I think my favorite is #6! Â That’s a deal right there. Â I liked the Study Treats one too. Â Ha!!!
~Has fall weather hit your area yet? Â It’s in full effect here in Michigan. Â I swear I almost turned on the heat last night. Â It was straight up freezing. Â And I loved it. Â I am planning on decorating for fall this week and need to get the kid’s Halloween costumes squared away soon. Â L now wants to be Steve from Minecraft and WB doesn’t really get it so he could care less. Â I’ll have to see what old costume’s of L’s I still have that will work for him.

14 and 15 Target List?Too funny!
So M now thinks I’ve lost it since I was just really LOL at the Target pics. I don’t think I pay that much attention to those things while I’m there but they are so funny.
I enter the random giveaways as I see them. I’ve never won anything as cool as you but I’ve won some smaller localish type trips that include hotels and tickets to something but they were all driveable. I also used to win tons of local stuff like movie tickets, restaurant gcs and stuff like that. I kindof stopped really doing that when I had the boys but now that we are getting out more I need to work on those. Most are pretty easy here so once I’m logged into the local site it prefills in the info so easy peasy just need to do it. I enter all of yours since they are always AWESOME!!!!

Ugh…no fall weather here (So Cal). It is 5:45 p.m. here and it still 93 degrees. I am so sick of the heat. I know I can’t really complain though since we never have to deal with really cold weather. But I really need to stop sweating…lol!
That is too hot though. It’s not enjoyable to be out when it’s that warm.
I’m in SoCal too and it is ridiculously hot! I wish we could get some fall weather. Our schools are actually shutting down art noon tomorrow because of the heat wave.
We attended the Mother Earth News Fair. I had a hard time convincing my younger son that it would be slightly warmer when we left at 8 and it was 41 degrees. I put the heat on for a few minutes to take the chill out of the house. I want to watch Mom’s Night Out! I need to buy a costume for my younger son soon. He wants to be a dragon. We also will be decorating for fall this week. Enjoy reading Buzzfeed. We’ve seen stuff like that at our Target.
I used to be into sweeps when my older son was young. I want to get back into it again. There was a great website that listed all the instant sweeps and I don’t recall the name.
I used to use online-sweepstakes! I loved it.

I am (was!?…) a sweeper also. I quit after I started working full time again a few months ago. However before I quit sweeping I won a 2014 Nissan Rogue from an IWG on facebook. It was by far my most amazing win after 12 years of entering and not a bad win to retire on. I always think I should start entering again but its so much easier (and gratifying) to order a bunch of boxes. =)

We’ve been down to 34 on Friday night. When I got up in the morning, my house was 53 degrees! Luckily, my Will was at his Dad’s house, and it’s going to warm up this week, so I can get the furnace checked out before turning on the heat.

I love sweeping 🙂 I was retired, but my Chrons flipped into high gear this year so I took it up again while I was stuck at home. I won $1,000 from Miller Lite on Twitter this summer 🙂 that was the most exciting win in a loooooong time. I was shaking for like, 2 hours lol. Its very addicting to win!

I’m incredibly jealous that it has started to cool off up there, I swear it was still 90 degrees this weekend, I worked a 14.5 hour outside Saturday, there was a wedding & our uniform is black pants and a long sleeve button up black shirt. I am so over the heat!
Oh I feel you. I so feel you. I used to work on the waitstaff at a Country Club and we always had these giant weddings in the summer and it was about 100 degrees. And then we’d be running all the way from the kitchen with 8 million giant trays!
I love sweeping too, but I don’t have a lot of extra time to do it anymore. I enter ones from my favorite brands mostly now, since I follow them on social media, etc. I won the $1,000 from Miller Lite on Twitter a couple of months ago, and my most exciting one EVER is that I won the Birchbox/Women’s Health Power Up Challenge that I did on Instagram! My trip is next month, and I’m so pumped 🙂

Here in NC it was about 90 love it!! But the other day it was 70 and we were freezing. You know you’ve lived in the south awhile because when it’s70 or lower we are all in t, jeans boots and flannel shirts. Lol.
Meal planning depends on the weather, like I said it was in the 70s so I made chili. I check the forecast, then the sales and plan from there.
That’s so funny because when it gets to 60 here in like March, everyone acts like it’s 100 degrees and we break out the shorts and flip-flops!
At 60 we still have the heat on and winter coats! My daughter woke up the other day and it was 65 when she left for school and she was freezing, so was I. I headed over to Target and everyone there was in jeans and t shirts with boots. .
