Animal Trackers Club (Into Box + 1st Month)

Animal Trackers Club, who kindly sent me this package to review, is a monthly subscription program specifically designed for your Pre-reader/Beginning Reader (3+ years). Each month your child will “track” a new animal through age-appropriate instructional materials designed to encourage hands-on, creative learning.

Animal Trackers Club
The Box

Animal Trackers Club ships via USPS and arrived in just a few days. I was sent the Club Introduction Box, as well as, a monthly box to review so the box is larger than you would normally receive.

Animal Trackers Club
First Look

The package on the right is the first box of the subscription and the padded envelope on the left is what you can expect to receive every month going forward.  Here is what all was included in the packages:

Club Introduction Box

Animal Trackers Club
The Lunchbox

Your first Animal Trackers box includes a super cute lunchbox to store your materials in.  You can probably see from the picture, but this is metal so it’s super sturdy.

Animal Trackers Club
Welcome Letter

The welcome letter explains how the box works and lets you know what you can expect to receive every month.  The Animal Trackers Club mascot’s name is “Bode Bear” and he’s pretty much in charge of the journey.

Animal Trackers Club
Supplies

You’ll need your “My Safari Animal Tracks” booklet when you start getting the monthly Animal boxes.  They have also included a pencil so you can work on your projects and also a picture story about the safari you’ll be going on with Bode.

Animal Trackers Club
Safari Scenes with Stickers

The animal stickers were a big hit here!  Not too many actually ended up on the safari scenes though.  Lots on hands and arms and shirts though.

Animal Trackers Club
Savanna Animal Cards

The intro box includes cards with facts and other information about the animals you can expect to find on your adventure.  I like that they also give you tips on how you can use them.  You can use them as flash cards, as a matching game, to work on animal sounds, etc.  So many options.

Month 1 – Zebra

Animal Trackers Club
Zebra Pack

The first animal you will meet on the journey is the Zebra!  The zebra animal box includes a picture for your collection, a zebra figurine, a mask and more.  WB doesn’t really get what a zebra is, but we are working on it.  He thinks it’s just a striped horse.  Sort of WB. Sort of.

Animal Trackers Club
Magic Nuudles Zebra Project

We have not done the magic nuudles project yet, but I SO want too.  Like I want to play with them on my own.  LOL.  I guess you wet them and they somehow fuse together.  I did a google search on these and it appears that you can make a ton of things (basically whatever you want) with them. They seem to me to be just like (or super close to anyway) packing peanuts.  Is this true?  Can I make projects and build things with packing peanuts?  Because that would be awesome!

Animal Trackers Club
Activity Sheets

Animal Trackers is a bit too old for WB (he’s almost there though) and probably a bit too young for L, but I am going to put these in one of L’s Quiet Time boxes anyway. A refresher never hurt anyone!

I wish my daughter, Lily, was old enough to engage in this because I would so get it for her. She loooooves animals and goes through phases. She was heavy into elephants and kitties, and now she is into fish and monkeys. I am slightly tempted to sign up for this and then give the extra materials to a friend who has a preschooler. Hmmm….

      How old is she?

        She’s 21 months old…almost 22 months…but she is pretty smart kid. hmmm…with the 50% coupon code I think I might do this.
