Threaded Canvas, who kindly sent me this for review, was started by a group of art lovers from Indiana with the goal of giving the gift of art to a larger audience around the world. Each month you will receive three art tees, one art print, and three small art collectibles. We scour the internet in search of the most elite artists from all over the world. Each artist is unique in their abilities but they all share one unique trait: they create phenomenal works of art.

The Information Card

The June 2014 Threaded Canvas box doesn’t have a theme, but I should mention that June was their first ever month! Here is what it included:

~Catalin Plugaru, Xod03, Watery Grave Tee ($25): This is probably my favorite tee of the bunch.  I am not really sure why because it’s kind of “dark”, but I do.  And I think it’s the one that looks the best on B!

~Gary Logan Hodby Milksop Studio, King Musa Tee ($25): Love the colors on this one.  I actually would love this in a kids size.  I think it’d look great on the kids and they’d get a kick out of it.

~Vlad Isac: Tiger’s Vibe Tee ($25): This might be B’s favorite. Or at least it was his favorite to model because he was growling like a tiger when he put it on.  LOL!

~Heather Landry Sandpaperdaisy: Come With Me Print ($15) & Robert Austin, White Rabbit Recluse Cloth Print / Box Design ($5): Umm, this print is gorgeous.  I actually thought for a minute it was an actual painting.  The colors are so vivid and the paper is really thick.  I love it!

All totaled  I came up with a value of about $100 for the June 2014 Threaded Canvas box.  The shirts are Threaded Canvas exclusives, so this is the only place you can get them!  I think three t-shirts for $20 (plus $7 shipping) is a pretty great deal and you also get a a bunch of other things as well which makes it an even better deal!

    Hi Jennifer,

You forgot to include the 7$ shipping charge. 🙂

    1. Jennifer

Ohh thank you! I could have sworn it said free shipping but I must be mistaken!

OK totally off topic, but do you remember where u got the things on the wall behind B in the first picture that has white dry erase board in the three sections actually I like both of them the topn and the bottom. it is exactly what I’ve been looking for but cannot find it anywhere

    1. Jennifer

That is from Pottery Barn from a few years ago. I think they still have it though??

By the time I put in the shirt styles I wanted, I was up to something like $36 a month. Eliminate the V neck, choose a different style, and voila, it’s at $27. This seems like an interesting subscription, and I need something to fill in all the blanks now that I’ve dumped most every subscription box imaginable. I’m down to Bespoke (opted out this month), Hampton Lane, Graze, Julep (which I’m taking a six-month break from with this next month) and Fab Fit Fun. Oh, and the odd limited edition/mystery box.

I like the idea of dumping some of the monthlies for the limited edition ones!

Hope you’re having a blast, remember to hydrate and not the way L is about to be hydrated.

I can’t wait to try this..I would live in t-shirts if I could

  6. Brian H.

I want a t-shirt of the drawing on the box.

  7. Kayleigh

Hey, what’s the shirt material like?

    1. Jennifer

      I’d just call it a normal 100% cotton t-shirt.

I have had a TERRIBLE experience with THREADED CANVAS as have several others as I am finding out. I ordered and paid for three boxes thus far. And thus far, I have nothing to show for it. The first box they sent was the wrong sixe. The XL (which I ordered for my husband) were so large that someone had to be a size XXXL to fit into them. After sending them an email and asking if I could return it on my dime they said yes. That was the last I have heard from them.
So begins my nightmare with this company. I sent the T-shirts with a return receipt and they have received them. I was never sent a different size nor was I refunded my money nor was I credited for another month. So I’m out 27.97 dollars for the 1st box. The second box which was the November box I just got – IN DECEMBER. **AGAIN** the size is wrong. Even though they said the size had been changed and I had changed the size in my online account also. I have the email to prove that they said the size had ALREADY been changed. So these too are a thousand times too big. UNWEARABLE.
I still have not received my December box although I have been charged for it already. And there is not tracking number nor has it left the warehouse.
I have sent over 25 emails to them to no avail.
They have the world’s worst customer service. Not to mention they allow anyone to post on their facebook page anymore. They did, but too many people were complaining so they left 2 comments (positive ones) on and deleted the others.
My take from it is this: DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. You will be overcharged and ignored.
    WORST. COMPANY. EVER.
