First Look

I had forgotten to tell B that this one was coming, but he was around when I opened it and was quite excited to check it out with me.

The Information Card

The July 2014 Roasters Pack didn’t have a stated theme, but included the following coffees:

~Monogram Coffee Roasters – Ojo De Agua: Monogram Coffee is a small batch roasting company located in Cambridge Ontario.  B took all of these to work for the boys to enjoy and they have been loving them!

~Detour Coffee Roasters – Gutiti Alemu: Detour is located in Burlington, Ontario and works with a number of independent smaller farms to source their beans. The tasting notes on this say “juicy ripe orange and cherry dominate the front end of this cup and lead to a floral, peachy finish”. B did not mention any of those things and since I dump a ton of cream in my office I wouldn’t have either, but I know he liked it a lot.

~Bows & Arrows Coffee Roasters – Bella Carmona Estate: Bow & Arrows is located in Victoria, British Columbia and are very focused on sourcing transparency. They invest in the producers they purchase from regularly and enjoy having a relationship with their suppliers.

I didn’t do a cost breakdown on this subscription because it would have been too difficult to calculate shipping and the costs of the sizes provided. But you get enough coffee for at least 35 cups making it less than $1/cup which is awesome!  I am pretty sure even K-Cups cost more than that and we all know that Starbucks costs WAY more than that!

What do you think of The Roasters Pack?  If you are interested in subscribing or just want to learn more, head over and check them out!  And don’t forget to use the code “RAMBLED5” to save $5 off your first month!
