Beauty Box 5 is a monthly subscription service that delivers a sample box of all things beauty. Each box contains 4 – 5 samples of a variety of makeup, skin care, fragrances and everything in between!  Boxes are $12/month if you do a month-to-month subscription, however, I subscribed a few months ago when they had an insane deal that brought the cost of an annual subscription down to $6.58/month.  How could I resist?
Beauty Box 5 ships via DHL Global Mail. Â It starts out in DHL’s hands and is then delivered by USPS. I got my shipping e-mail yesterday and the box arrived today, but I am not 100% sure how long it took to get here since they don’t send tracking along with the e-mail.
I am always surprised at how small the Beauty Box 5 boxes are and how much stuff they pack in them!
The April 2014 Beauty Box 5 focused on looks that call for a little leisurely layering which allow you to enjoy your mornings and take a little more time for yourself. Â Here is what was included:
~BH Cosmetics California Collection Eyeshadow Palette (~$3): I actually received this came palette back in an ipsy over the summer, so I am going to try to trade this one. Â I do really like the colors though and think it’s a great travel sized palette!
~Nicka K New York Hydro Lipstick ($4.99): I am more into lipgloss than lipstick, so my SIL gets all the lipsticks I get. Â I haven’t gotten a ton lately, so I was very happy to see this! Â She’s going to love it!
~Blum Naturals All Purpose Cleansing Wipes ($2.49): OMG how cute is this mini wipe container? Â You can use them to remove eye makeup or correct minor cosmetics mistakes. Or anything else. Love!!!!!!
~Jergens Natural Glow – 3 Days to Glow Moisturizer (~$2): I have actually been eyeing this at CVS and was SO excited to see it in here. Â I will totally be reporting back on how this one works. Â Just as soon as I scrub all this winter skin off!
~Bonne Bell Lip Definer ($2): I don’t use lip liner on a regular basis, so I will either pass this on to my SIL or use it will clear lipgloss like they recommend!
All totaled I came up with a value of $14.48 for the April 2014 Beauty Box 5. Â It’s not as valuable as some of the BB5 boxes I have received, but for the price I paid I am happy!!

I did last summer 🙂 its a very cool site with nice prices, specially for us from other countries but maybe you find something too, tons of nice serums and creams for 30+ folks, vitamins,supplements etc
I got exactly what you did except my wipes were in citrus scent. And I loved the size of these – can just toss in my purse!
How do they smell?
its supposed to be grapefruity – but its that weird citrus scent… hard to describe.
Your lip liner looks so much nicer than the one I got. I’m actually pretty sure mine was used before! The cap was yellowed/stained/opened and it was def used by someone for something.

Same thing happened to my lip liner. There was a horrible pungent smell coming from the cap and the top of the pencil was just rotten — I had to toss it out. I didn’t even bother emailing BB5 because I didn’t like the lip liner to begin with. The only thing I liked about this month’s box was the lipstick and the Blum wipes. I have a quarterly subscription so if the next 2 boxes are a miss I’m cancelling.
