It’s time for another Thursday Thoughts! If you want to participate, but have no idea what a link-up is, you can check out my explanation of it here.

~Happy Thursday! It’s been a long week already and I think it’s partially because this is the first full week of school that L has had since, goodness, mid-December? They got progress reports sent home earlier in the week and I had to laugh since they were off for like 3 weeks for the holidays and then had 7 snow days plus MLK Day off in January! Something tells me not too much progress was happening at school last month. The other reason this week has been long is because of the snow. The roads are a disaster! It looks gorgeous, but there is a layer of ice under basically everything. Don’t get me wrong I do love the snow, I just don’t like the roads.

~I am still expecting a few packages this week, including Stitch Fix (it was delayed because of the weather), Fancy Food Box, Mama’s Got Mail and while my PopSugar won’t be here by the end of the week I am guessing we’ll be getting some spoilers on that one soon (maybe even tomorrow). My mail carrier has informed me that that since driveways / sidewalks are such a slippery mess (salt shortage, the snow never stops, you get the idea), they aren’t supposed to get out of their trucks right now.  I need to keep an eye out for sure or I will never get my packages. I ran out yesterday when I saw her to grab a package and she was quite pleased to see me.  She says she’ll honk so I will know she’s there.  Perfect!

~Tonight is the night! The Games begin! I am already highly entertained just reading all the stories and tweets and all that from the journalists and athletes over there. It seems that 1) things aren’t quite ready and 2) the Russians think that the rest of the world does crazy things in the bathroom! So so so entertaining.

Darn it. I love fishing in the toilet.

Ha!!!!!
Ha!!!!!

~B has drill (aka National Guard stuff) this weekend so it’ll be up to the little boys and I find some fun things to do.  B does have Monday off though so he and I are going to have a little day date which will be nice.  He’s probably going to be glad he’s busy this weekend with all the Games watching happening.  I also need to sort through everyone’s Disney recommendations and make some dining reservations.

~I have been slacking on posting giveaway winners, so here goes!  The winner of the Socialbliss Style Box is: Karisa P., the winner of The Bride Box is Eric P. and the winner of the Crafter’s Crate is Kelly Anne T!  Congrats everyone!  You have been e-mailed!  And, of course, don’t forget to enter the Friday Night Fun giveaway and the MunchPak giveaway which are still going on!  There will be some other giveaways up soon as well, so as always stay tuned!

~Has anyone found the Cookie Dough (or any of the other Limited Edition) Oreo’s yet? WB and I need to go grocery shopping this morning (always a good time with WB) and I have my fingers crossed we can find them!

I can't help but wonder what they taste like???

What’s going on for your Thursday today?  Do you have any big weekend plans?  Let me know and of course, link-up!

I bought both limited edition Oreos (the cookie dough and marshmallow crispy). They are REALLY good. Cookie dough, especially. It has more of a coffee/caramel/brown sugar-ish taste. The marshmallow crispy filling is good, but it’s a little too sweet with the golden cookie–they should have used the filling with the regular chocolate cookie.

    1. Jennifer

I need to go to another store. No sign of them at Target.

  2. Jenny

Did you get your tickets yet? You can also do your FP+ reservations when you get those. 🙂 I can’t wait to hear all about your trip. So exciting.
That is nice of your mail lady. I’m glad my guy is back. Not sure where he was but he was gone for a couple weeks and I was not happy. The subs are never as good as your normal person.
I’m so ready for the Olympics. I have a girls night out tonight and then M and I have date night tomorrow but I’ll have the Tivo working overtime the next couple of weeks.

    1. Jennifer

OMG no, I need to call and get them. I guess there is no military ticket office near us and I have to call the nearest one?

  3. Erin

We found the cookie dough oreo at our local grocery store. My 9 year old loves them, me not so much. Very sweet. If you can not find them, let me know I will grab you a package.

    1. Jennifer

I am going to look again this afternoon! Thank you!

  4. Mom

You and B are having a day date Monday?

    1. Jennifer

      You are so funny Nana!

    1. Jennifer

So funny. I couldn’t stop looking for pictures. Did you see the one with the four chairs facing the toilet? LOL!!

      1. Yes! In my house there is a cat that watches me. She can’t stand for somebody to be in the bathroom without her. Side by side toilets are one thing, but 2 toilets side by side in a stall? My husband locks the door when he goes at home. He would probably be scarred for life if he had to poop next to somebody.

        1. Jennifer

Two toilets in the same stall are a little too much even for the closest of people!

  5. Diana Garza

We are so excited about The Lego Movie coming out tomorrow – my son is a little obsessed with Legos. 🙂

    1. Jennifer

      I forgot about that!!!!

  6. Lauren

Um, Cookie Dough Oreos might be the greatest invention ever. Need to find these ASAP.

    1. Jennifer

I couldn’t find them. Grrr. I will have to go to a different store…

  7. Sylvia

I haven’t seen cookie dough Oreos, but right now Dunkin’ has these limited-edition heart-shaped donuts filled with cookie dough buttercream that are INSANE. Total crack. I need to stay far, far away!

    1. Jennifer

OMG we tried those last weekend. My kids loved them!

  8. Carol

I’ve been trying global leave comments on some of the blogs you post Her but it keeps telling me to log in. Lol must be doing something wrong. But tell the links above I like their reviews

    1. Jennifer

Do you mean on some of the blogs in the link-up? Like other people’s blogs? Sometimes you need to have a wordpress account (anyone can make on) to comment on things. It should ask you if you want to create one.

  9. Megan

Target has them! They are seasonal so the vendor has to deliver the, check in the rear seasonal area near the value set not in the grocery aisle.

    1. Jennifer

Not there yet! I will keep looking!

      1. Megan

Keep checking! I’m a manager there. They should show up shortly!

        1. Jennifer

          Will do!

  10. Bethany

Oh Russians. They really crack me up. So excited for tonight! Those cookie dough Oreos look amazing. We’ll have to hunt for those!

    1. Jennifer

Those cookies + the Olympics tonight???

      1. Bethany

Sounds like a plan! If we can find them!!

        1. Jennifer

I am going to go look again after I pick L up. He will be into this shopping trip!

  11. Shawn

I found the new Oreos at our Michigan Meijer (or Meijers 🙂 last week! Kids loved the cookie dough but the rice crispy were super sweet.

    1. Jennifer

Ha!!!! I will go to Meijer(S)!

  12. Erin

I found the cookie dough Oreos at my local General Dollar of all places. There was 1 pack on some random isle. I saw them and my kids looked at me like I was crazy because I went all Matrix trying to grab them off the shelf. lol

    1. Jennifer

      LOL!!!!!!!!!!

  13. Cristina

I got a package of the Cookie Dough oreos for free for tweeting something about a week and a half ago. I just got them in the mail yesterday. To me they are extra sweet, almost taste mocha-y. Good when dipped in milk! I was hoping it would be more like, less chocolatey inside, because it really didn’t taste like cookie dough to me. I want to try the rice crispy flavor!

    1. Jennifer

Ohh I wish I would have tweeted!!!

    1. Jennifer

      I did ;(.

  14. alyssa

My mom went on an oreo mission Tuesday for me but our grocery store didn’t have cookie dough or marshmallow crispy. Funny thing is they did have birthday cake oreos which I’d had trouble finding before. My mom came home with birthday cake and mega stuff oreos since those are the only special ones they had there.
Darnit fishing in the toilet is my favorite thing to do in the bathroom. And it looks like no one is allowed to be throw up drunk at the Olympics lol.

    1. Jennifer

LOL! I saw that too. DO NOT throw up in the toilet. That’s a no-no!

      1. alyssa

Then they better like mopping or stopped up sinks just saying.
Sounds like I need to ask my dad to check target for the new oreos his next target run. I think I’ll ask for those for after my surgery the 25th can’t believe only like 19 days away!
Also does dunkin donuts have the brownie batter heart donuts too this year or just the cookie dough ones? I’m hoping to get some Monday before pre op tests lol

        1. Jennifer

Yes, they do!!!!!! L had that kind and loved it!

  15. Mrs. L

I found both the new Oreo’s at my Target yesterday. Did not like the Cookie Dough ones and neither did anyone in my office. Did like the Marshmallow one. My driver said it tasted like the marshmallows found in Lucky Charms cereal!

Did you hear today where they think they are spying on folks in the showers at the Olympics?

    1. Jennifer

I am so jealous! Neither my Target or grocery store had them! The search will continue though.

I didn’t hear that today! I need to catch up!

  16. Berit

Amazon.com has the cookie dough Oreos, but they are pricey…$8+ a package. I may have to order some though…can’t find them around here yet.

    1. Jennifer

I hope I can find them!

  17. Tammy

I love your excitement over the Olympics. I remember watching my first one when I was four years old, and I have watched every one since. Ever since DVRs it has gotten ridiculous. I record everything but hockey and curling, but really I keep feeling like I should do those too!

    1. Jennifer

You probably should watch those too! My 5 year old was watching with me tonight and loved it. I am so excited for him to watch the opening ceremonies tomorrow!

  18. ashley g

my husband saw the oreos and didn’t get them. SAY WHAT?! WHY NOT YOU CRAZY, CRAZY MAN?!

    1. Jennifer

      Oh no!!!!!!!

  19. Alyssa Green

Random. Did your glossybox promo end? Mine was the 17 and change then this month it was back at the 21$?

    1. Jennifer

Oh I don’t know. I haven’t gotten charged yet! I will let you know. It’s supposed to be $17.85 or whatever for fiercer right??

    2. Jennifer

Okay, I JUST got billed for mine and it was the normal $17.85.

  20. Yivanna

My Target is fully stocked with the cookie dough and rice crispes and they are on sale for $3.00. Didn’t like the cookie dough ones much but did like the other. My 1 year old nephew loved both.

    1. Jennifer

I found them at WalMart! Just the Cookie Dough though!
