Today I’m smiling because:
~The opening ceremonies were last night and I loved them! I actually watched them on the CBC earlier in the day and NBC last night and I loved them. The symbolism goes right over my head, but I don’t mind. I love it all! I thought the torch lighting was extra cool!
~My mom and I went to Bath & Body Works yesterday expecting 2 for $25 candles like they were advertising online, but were delighted to find out they were 2 for $22! WHAT?? The saleslady said it was a test store? Whatever. I’ll take it. And they had the most adorable little pedestal holders. Combined with out coupons I think we got a great deal!
~Our street (the entire neighborhood really) got plowed and I no longer fear getting stuck everywhere I go.
~I found Cookie Dough Oreo’s! And if that’s not amazing enough, I found LEMON Oreo’s as well. I like the Cookie Dough ones well enough, but the lemon? That’s where it’s at. Fabulous.
~We made it through our first full week of school in almost two months!
~Not only did the FedEx person drop off our DisneyWorld tickets on the porch yesterday, they also left two bones for Baxter and Buddy who I am sure were going bananas seeing someone at the door.
~I got the cutest new EC labels for packages I send out! I had requested a bunch of customization on them and sometimes it’s hard to be clear about what you really want, but they turned out perfect.
~Mean Tweets were on Jimmy Kimmel this week and they always make me smile. SO funny!
~This little office helper makes me smile!
~I made L an Games themed (well, USA Games themed) muffin tin meal last night and he loved it! Muffin tin meals are always a huge treat and he gets so excited to see them. When he smiles, I smile!

Are those your Magic Bands? We got ours a few weeks ago for our upcoming trip and they are so cool! I’m having a great time tying fast passes and dining reservations to them. I’m ready to go like now!
No, they were our military park passes. I can’t wait to get our Magic Bands!
Have you already customized them online? My boys had a blast picking the colors. And I know I’m going to get sucked into buying accessories for them. You can tie all your stuff to them before they arrive using the Disney app, it’s all pretty slick.
No. We haven’t paid the balance of the trip yet, so I am guessing it won’t let me till after that?
We did ours before we paid the balance. Are you staying at one of their resorts? Maybe that’s it, you have to be staying at one of their hotels to qualify since they’re in the early stages of rolling them out. I know someone staying on the grounds at the Swan that’s not getting them because even though they’re on the grounds it’s not technically a Disney resort. If you guys are doing the military thing and staying at the military hotel on the grounds that’s probably the issue.
No we are staying on property. Maybe I can do it. I don’t know. I really haven’t looked much into planning this trip!

I found the lemon Oreos the other day and lost it. SO GOOD!! They remind me of the lemon Girl Scout cookies. Amazing! 🙂

I have to agree! When I texted my mom about it she said they sounded gross. I told her I would try my best to save her one so she could taste how amazing they are. Now I’m thinking I’ll just buy another package haha!

It wasn’t on sale. I think it was $10.50. I tried to find it online too, but didn’t have any luck.
Just bought the birthday cake ones yesterday but going to head over to Jewel this weekend to see if I can get my hands on the lemon ones. I loved those lemon girl scout cookies!

Love that muffin tin meal! Such a cute idea. So I rarely watch late night TV but turned it on the other night and Mean Tweets were on! I about died laughing. I am so glad you found the Oreos and will be sure to try to lemon version too if I ever find them!!!

Your EC labels are so cute. I thought of that when I was ordering. I’ve been putting sitcky notes on things but labels would be so much cuter.
Lucas has been before. Like 3x I think? This will be WB’s first trip though! And I can’t even count how many times I have been? At least a dozen I would guess! We used to go lots when I was younger! There is always something new to see though!

I bet the CBC version did not cut things out since it was live. I was so confused when I watched the NBC version and did not see all the parts people tweeted about (scary bear, T.A.T.U., IOC President on discrimination, the almost SNL like singing interior ministry choir.) I hate on NBC every Olympics for their delay but forgot about their damn editing! (Ok I kinda like it when they speed up the parade of nations though….)

I got it Friday and they said they JUST got it in. Hopefully they have it soon!!
We tried the Lemon Oreos before we got hooked on the marshmallow krispie ones. I liked those, but Pepperidge Farm is doing a variant of their Mint Milano cookies with lemon which I like even more than the Lemon Oreos. They’re Lemon Chocolate Milanos, and if you like lemon and chocolate, odds are you’ll like these.
Love your new labels! And your office assistant is so cute! Mine is at school all day nowadays, although maybe we’ll get lucky and have another snow day or two.
