1. I put together some Valentine’s Day basket’s for the boys real quick and had them waiting for then at breakfast today. OMG they loved them. WB got a Flashlight Friend which L is so jealous of. I am guessing he’s going to try and relocate it to his room soon.
2. OMG Stacy over at Five Minute Style sent me a surprise package of UK goodies@ WHAT? Best mail surprise of the week! Thank you Stacy!
3. These MUK LUKS are my new favorite thing. I love them. My mom couldn’t stop telling me how cute they were today either. I so so so wish I would have bought a second pair. I love these.
4. L insisted that we go to the doctor this week for his cold and I obliged because, heck, I want to get him fixed up as fast as possible too. It’s just a cold with a cough, but he’s not headed up-north because my Grandma up there is sick too! We’ll have to think of something extra fun to do this week.
5. Ugh. In a moment of insanity, I opted to take WB with me to the doctor to get a prescription refilled instead of simply having my mom come over to watch him. Ohhh, it’ll be no big deal I thought. HA!!!!! Don’t get me wrong, he was SUPER good for an almost 2 year-old, but it’s not going down again if I can help it.
6. I got a check from Verizon for $0.25 this week. Yeah, they sent me a check for a quarter. It was for some fees I was charged in error years and years ago (we don’t even use verizon anymore) or something? But yeah, it cost more to mail it than the check was worth. So dumb.
7. Ha! How funny is this? I believe this was my cousin’s lederhosen from years and years ago (now why we had it I had no idea) and it fits L perfect! I didn’t want to push my luck and make him wear a shirt too ;).
8. To give you an idea of how much snow we have here, this is my parents backyard. Typically we get a little snow, it melts, we get a little more snow, it melts, etc. But this year, it’s just here. It’s suppose to warm up next week which is going to make a complete mess around here.
9. L got the Minecraft lego set he’s been wanting to round out his set as part of his Valentine’s Day gift and has been busy working on it since he got home from school. He’s obsessed!

BAHAHAHA!!! My friend said she got $.02 cents. I mean seriously?
You did good gifts today. M and I both wanted a movie so we then had to get the boys something. LOL They each got a book, a tin of hershey kisses, and a toy: N got a disney infinity power pack holder book and C got a Jake fishing game. Of course the movies N and I got are kid friendly The Little Mermaid and Jungle Book. A great Valentines Day all around.
I did good for the little boys. B got a card ;).
Glad you were able to do the V-day baskets! It seems like a small thing but I always appreciated my mom doing stuff for me! Also, that Verizon check cracks me up. I mean, now that you can deposit checks from your phone it’s less annoying, but even so, is the time it takes even worth a quarter? Okay, and the UK goodies surprise = so awesome!!!
Oh my bank isn’t that fancy but even if it were I’d still be annoyed. My friend got a check for two cents!!!
