Ahhh, I was basically stalking my mail lady today because I knew she was bringing me my February 2014 Wantable Boxes (which Wantable every so kindly sent me to review)! My Makeup (I skipped January) and Intimates both ship at the same time every month (it’s all based on when you originally sign up), so it’s a fun day.

If you aren’t familiar, Wantable offers 4 to 5 full-sized premium makeup products, hand-picked to perfectly match your preferences. They also offer intimates and jewelry boxes, again customized to your preferences.  And unlike the majority of other subscription boxes, Wantable allows you to return the box if you aren’t totally 100% happy. You just go into your account, go to your order history and click “Return Items” and you’ll get a prepaid label and a full refund.

The Box

Wantable ships via USPS First Class Mail.  I typically get my boxes in about two days since Wantable is in WI which is a state over from me.

First Look

The first look?  I was loving it already!   I saw a few familiar brands and also a few new to me ones as well.

Preferences
Preferences

Like I mentioned before, you can total customize your Wantable box.  You fill out a questionnaire telling them what you Love, Like and Dislike.  You’ll get more of the things you love and none of the things you Dislike.  It also asks about color preferences and that sort of thing.

The Information Card

The February 2014 Wantable Makeup Box features Cassandra Kunze (who is Miss USA California) and includes items to help you leave those winter woes behind and leap headfirst into the latest Spring makeup trends.  Here is what my box included:

~Starlooks Lengthening Mascara ($16):  I have tried a few things from the Starlooks line, but never mascara!  I NEED to use up the zillion mascaras I already have open before I crack into this one, but it’s supposed to give you full lashes without clumping at all.

~ncLA Nail Lacquer (Let’s Pop Bottles) ($16): Gorgeous.  Totally gorgeous.  I haven’t been actively buying nail polish, but if it happens to come my way?  Yeah, I’m okay with that. This color is fabulous and I can safely say I have none like it.

~Manna Kadar Sheer Glow Highlighter ($29): This is another perfect for me item.  I mix lotion with BB creams, highlighting creams, foundations, etc.  It often seems to thick for me, but I want something, so I like to thin it out.  You can mix this with foundation, your normal moisturizer or just wear alone.  Why didn’t I discover this sooner?

~Glam Natural Cream Blush ($32): This is probably one of the most gorgeous makeup product packaging I have ever seen.  The blush comes in a little velvet pouch and it’s in a fancy two piece box.  The blush itself is pretty cool too and has a little pump top.  You only need a little bit, so this is probably going to last forever!

All totaled I came up with a value of $93 for my February 2014 Wantable Box and I couldn’t be any happier with this one than I already am.  I totally love it and think that my preferences were matched perfectly.  Wantable boxes start at $36/month, so obviously the value is there too.

Do you subscribe to Wantable?  If so, what’d you get in your box (makeup or accessories or intimates) this month? I’ll post the review of my Intimates box tomorrow!  And if you don’t subscribe, what are you waiting for?  Click here to subscribe or learn more.

Love that nail color! I got the Manna Kadar highlighter in my box a few months ago and I love it! It’s a little more sparkly than it looks in the bottle, though – I used way too much the first time and was a glittery mess.

Loving your box. I skipped this month too since I had so many things from Dec I just never even got out of the box. That shimmer lotion looks awesome. I also love that you don’t have any like all loves and dislikes. So funny.
