~First of all, I’m not sure about that new Thursday Thoughts button, so don’t feel like you need to change it. I’m going to tweak it a little and come up with something final – hopefully by next week. Â I wish Photoshop and I were just a little bit friendlier ;).
~I mentioned it on Facebook, but I got my thredUP payment earlier this week! Â If you’ll recall, I sent in a bag filled with my old clothes on 8.28.13 and got an estimated payout date of 10.3.13. Â However, I got a payout e-mail on Monday (9.23.13)!! Â For the 11 items they accepted, I received $84.60! Â Holla! Â I sent in a lot of higher end stuff (Citizens of Humanity, JCrew, North Face, etc.) and was hoping for a good payout, but this was even more than I was expecting. Â I have NO clue what all I sent in, so I don’t know if there were items they didn’t accept, but I don’t even care! Â I have another bag waiting to be processed (it has an estimated date of 10.17.13), so now I am even more curious about that one! Â I’ll report back of course.
~I’ve been catching up on all the old episodes of Hardcore Pawn during naptime and while I know this is all totally fake, I still wish I had something to go down there (it’s in Detroit – aka not far from me) and try to pawn. Â It’s so entertaining! Â Oh wait, I’d prefer to go on Antiques Roadshow! Â Why don’t I (or my parents or my grandma) have one of those attics filled with rare treasures?
~Okay, so what on earth is going on with Lamar Odom? Â Now people are sending fake tweets from his twitter account? Â What? Â Is he okay? Can someone go check on him please? Â Maybe some NBA people??? Â Seriously.
~Congrats to Elise N. who won the September PopSugar Must Have Box and Jessica D**z who won the Fall Favorites Giveaway!!  I’ve heard back from Elise, but haven’r heard back from Jessica yet. Where are you girl??
~L has a nursery rhyme show at school today and I am so excited for it! Â They have been practicing for weeks and weeks and all the kindergartens are performing so it should be highly entertaining. Â I am certain that 99% of the parents will be filming the performance, and I don’t understand why they don’t just have one person filming and just send everyone copies. Â I want to just sit and enjoy the show, B can’t go so I feel like I have to video it (or at least part of it) so he can see it too.
~It’s that time of year where I am left stressing about Christmas Card pictures! Â Ugh. I know I need to get something scheduled SOON if I want to get the leaves changing colors and all that fun stuff in my pictures (I was too late last year + it was freezing out). Â I do kind of want to do something different this year. Â I don’t know what, but different. Â Any ideas??

I am glad I am not the only one already thinking about Christmas cards! I want to have a photo ready so when one of those photo cards sites has a crazy sale, I am all set to jump on it! Last year I did a super impromptu at home photo session with S in order to take advantage of a great flash sale. I’d like something a bit more planned this year! 🙂
I’ve already ordered some Christmas cards. I used a picture of the boys on the bridge from the other day and was placing a huge Shutterfly order so I used some free card codes and made them Christmas cards. I want to do some good ones too but these will work for some of the people. I can always foofoo it up to make them a little nicer.
Nice payout. I’m still waiting on my Twice payout. I can’t wait to see what they give me for my bag. That bag was huge.
I am addicted to Hardcore Pawn! Les looks just like my father…I swear they are twins. My hubby and I said “one day we have got to go up there and take dad with us”- we have lots of family in Southern MN- so maybe on a road trip we will do a detour 🙂
So this Thredup place? You send name brand clothes into them and they buy them from you? I will have to check it out.
I went to Antiques Roadshow once. I had to enter a lottery for the tickets and they were free (at the time). I brought my Dad and it was fabulous!!! None of our stuff was on TV but we were in line behind someone who got one of the big segments on the show so you could clearly see us.
I got my Twice payout (about $4 per item) and I’m waiting on ThredUp.

The lack of update news about Lamar is ridiculou!s. Don’t they knew I need my Lamar gossip fix? I did read where he blamed everything on his Dad and said the Kardashians are the only real family he’s ever had. It may be a dysfunctional family, but I do believe Lamar really feels that way.

You might want to try making the “hts” in thoughts a separate text box to “thoug” so you can line them up and make them closer together.
Or you can highlight the “gh” and play with the kerning in the paragraph menu in Photoshop.
Or you could ignore my unsolicited advice 😀
I just got my bag payouts..I sent them in about a month ago and got a date of 10/11.
2 bags were STUFFED, 1 bag $41.07, other $117.52
It seems they REALLY like dress pants. I sent in a pair of Citizens of Humanity jeans and I don’t think they accepted them.
Oh well. This was all super old stuff that I haven’t worn in YEARS!
