Friday’s Letters

Dear iOS7, I’m still not so sure about you. We’ve gotten to know each other a little better now, but I’m not in love with you. Yet.

Dear Britney, I am so excited about your Vegas residency. Your shows don’t start for a few months so we won’t get to see you this trip ;(. So sadly (bahaha) I will have to plan ANOTHER trip to Vegas to see you. So sad about that. Not.

Dear L, Sorry I tried to make the bed with you in it the other morning. I didn’t realize that you had crawled into my bed after your Daddy went to work and it’s just habit to make the bed right when I get up.

Dear L’s School, Let’s get these school pictures back already okay? I know it hasn’t even been two weeks, but I want to see them already.

Dear Me, Stop going to bed at 2am.  Stop it.  You can watch Jimmy Fallon on Hulu.  And those infomercials on at 1:30 are never that great.  The good ones aren’t on until much later.

Dear WB, I think since I am with you 24-7, I sometimes forget how adorable (and hysterical) your antics are to everyone else.  But kid, you are something else.  And the older you get, the funnier you get.

Dear Kids Shows, Why do I watch you even when no kids are in the room?  I think I watched Sesame Street for a good hour the other night after the kids went to bed before I even realized it.  What???

Totally with you on the forgetting to appreciate how cute your own kid is because you’re with them 24/7! :) So easy to focus in on that one tantrum and overlook all of the awesome stuff they did that day :) Thanks for the reminder!

OMG! I watch Dinosaur train long after Elly has stopped. It like my brain doesn’t realize I can actually turn it off! I’m learning quite a bit though ;)

We get stuck watching kid tv all the time after Mackenzie goes to bed. What’s worse is I wake up with kid show songs in my head ALL THE TIME! I can’t believe you stay up so late. But I’ve always gone to be early, like since I was a child.
