1. I know I have posted about Rip Van Wafels a few (a lot) lately, so I wanted to let you know I found a similar item at Kroger this week!  They are smaller so they wouldn’t fit over a coffee cup, however, they are only like $4 for a package so they are worth a try.

2. How awesome are these sticky notes??  My favorite is the “I have something extremely important to tell you ASAP”.  Story of B’s life.

3. My mom watched WB one day this week and they weren’t planning on coming back until after I picked L up from school so I snuck in a little ice cream date at McDonalds.  Just L and I talking about his school stuff.  I loved every second of it!

4.One of the best part of my days is opening L’s lunchbox when he gets home from school and seeing what he ate and what’s left over.  Shockingly, more often than not, he leaves a cookie or half his fruit snacks or something.  He’s a good kid!

5. Buddy and L.  They have always been BFF’s and I think Buddy misses him during the day!  Also, all those houses in the background weren’t there last year at this time. It’s been bananas over here this year with all the houses being built by us.  I need to post a comparison picture.  It’s NUTS!

6. Ugh.  This is just a sampling of the clothes sorting project I am working on.  What I really need to do is move that bed out of the room and just spread everything out on the floor, but I think B would laugh at me if I asked him to do that!

7. Umm, tell me that’s not an amazing stacking job right there?  WB was busy eating snacks, but when saw those blocks just sitting there, he had to take a break and stack them up.  With one hand!

8. There was this little repair shop on corner near my house that had probably been there 100 years.  It was OLD. And all of a sudden today I drove by to pick L up from school (I pass it daily) and they were tearing it down!  Although it was a super run down and a bit of an eye sore (it’s been unoccupied for a bit), I was sad to see it gone.

9. L builds them.  WB knocks them down.  Sometimes it’s intentional and sometimes he’s just too rough when he is “smoothing” out the sand.  Love these boys!

Building is crazy. My neighborhood is finally built out but they are still doing a ton of building right around us so we do the walk throughs often. I love to see what I like and what I don’t. Saying that its almost time for Parade of homes here. I’ll need to get a list and see when I can go to a couple houses. Do you have that up there? Builders have houses open for you to go through and look. They are all staged and usually have info there so if you see something you like you could get the info for it. I just love seeing on they have staged things and the finishes in the new houses and stuff. I also love to go to at least one over a million house. That is a whole lotta house around here.

Since E has been evaluated for all developmental things because of his speech delay (they are required to do everything), I am happy to say that is totally an amazing stacking job. Your baby is advanced!! Average babies are unable to perform stacking over a certain level. Hooray! E did about that many at that age and the evaluators were like OMG LOOK AT THIS CHILD. I’m like what? it’s blocks? Doesn’t every baby do this? And the answer is no.

I need those cookies! I absolutely love them and everywhere in the US that makes them they cost a fortune. I bought like 5 boxes when I was in the Amsterdam airport just so I could have them. We don’t have Kroger but I’m set on finding these!

Trader Joe’s has mini caramel waffles too, they call them stroopwaffles. The packaging is almost the same except it’s blue not white. We always make the mistake of opening them in store and checking out with an empty bag, oops! Also blue apron is on sale for first-time customers at Gilt city today. Not sure if this link will work – http://www.giltcity.com/newyork/blueapronnycsep

World Market carries that exact brand of the caramel wafers. they have the mini ones (like the picture) but they also have larger normal sized wafers in packages of 2 and 10 or 12 also. The larger ones that come with 10 or 12 come in a pretty tin as well. They are delicious!

You DO pack a mean lunch! I’d love to find that in my lunch box. Lucky L and B. Also, WB is amazing. Kids his age typically DO NOT have that level of manual dexterity. I love the pup in the background waiting to knock them down. Or just grab a fruit snack. You know. Whichever.

    Cheers,
    Shauna
