I’m having a bit of a box shortage this week which is making me super sad ;(.  Luckily Lip Factory arrived to save me from being too sad!  But seriously, where are all my boxes this week??

Lip Factory got new boxes this month and I am loving them!  Instead of the plain white boxes they used to use, they are now black with bright red lips on them.  How awesome is that?

The inner lip factory box is the same as it used to be, but I think it perfectly fits the outer box now!

I hadn’t seen any spoilers for Lip Factory yet (they ship in batches), so the first look had me excited!  It seemed like a good mix of products and I was anxious to check everything out.

Lip Factory also redid their information card this month and I am totally loving it.  It’s so fancy now and I love seeing the all the products on the card.  I am easily pleased.  The August theme was “The Diva in You” and included the following:

~Sweetpea & Fay Lip Joule (Big Parade) ($7.99): I love all things lip gloss so yes, I love this!  It’s a fun color and isn’t even as bright on as it is in the tube which makes me like it even more.

~NYX Wonder Pencil (Light) ($4.50): I wasn’t sure what a “wonder” pencil did and initially dismissed it as just a lip liner or something I wouldn’t be excited about. It turns out that it’s a lip liner (used to prevent bleeding), eye liner (to brighten eyes) AND to conceal flaws and blemishes.  I plan to use as a concealer and love the idea of a pencil that I can easily tote along and use quickly as needed.

~Me Me Me Cosmetics Shimmer Stack ($15):  I converted this into USD, so it’s just an approximate price.  It appears that this is only available in the UK (although I’ll admit I didn’t do too much digging).  Sadly my stack was cracked (it’s just not my week), but it looks AMAZING in the picture.  I haven’t contacted Lip Factory yet (they have amazing customer service so I don’t think I will have any sort of issue at all), but I will update when I do!

~Red Cherry Natural Lashes ($2.50): Oh my goodness these are long!  I don’t know when I will have the occasion to use them, but I wish they came with instructions for when I do.  Hopefully Lip Factory includes some when they upload the August box information.

~ColourU Cosmetics Matte Lipstick (Skinny Dip) ($15): My first thought when I saw this was that my sister in law is going to love it!  She gets lots of my lipsticks because I don’t wear it often.   It’s a nice color though and is suppose to have moisturizers in it so your lips don’t get that gross dry feeling.

~White Towel Makeup Remover ($4.99): I was shocked to find out that a single towel was that expensive!  If you buy 50, they work out to less than $1/per, but getting just one is going to cost you!  I am going to save this for a complete makeup emergency – sometime when I am just too beat to actually wash it off my face.

All totaled I came up with a value of $49.98 for the August Lip Factory Box.  The box is only $22/month ($26/month if you are in Canada), so while it’s not the most “valuable” box to date, it’s still an amazing savings!
