July/August Splendies

Splendies is a new (last month was their first month) monthly subscription box which delivers a surprise package of quality undies delivered to your door every month. For $12/month, you’ll receive 3 pairs of undies (again I am not fond of the word PANTIES) and shipping is always free.

The Package

Splendies ships via USPS and didn’t take long at all to arrive. It also happened to be the only subscription box / package that arrived today. While that is kind of sad, it also gives me time to get caught up which I totally need.

Unlike last month, when the undies came in individual bags, they were wrapped in tissue paper this month. I don’t prefer one to the other, I’m just reporting the facts.  Splendies doesn’t have an information card (I suppose you don’t need anyone to explain undies to you), so here’s what I received:

~Spree Lace-Up Cheeky (Aqua): I totally love these and think they are just the right amount of sexy vs. comfy.  The material is very soft (90% Polyester / 10% Elastane) and the quality is great.  Love these.  I took a picture of the front and the back of these so you could see all the details – business in front, party in the back!  Wait – does that apply here?

~Vision Intimate Purple / Pink Lace Cotton Hipster: I received a similar pair (in red) last month that I really like, so I was thrilled to get these.  And again I posted front and back pictures so you can se exactly what they look like.  And as I was taking pictures of underwear on my countertop, L looked at me and was like “WHAT are you doing”?  He’s used to the picture taking of stuff on the counter (*), but the undies threw him for a loop.

~PACT Black Boyshort: Splendies has recently paired with PACT and will be including their undies in packages in the coming months!  I’d never heard of PACT before, but they seem to be a pretty cool company.  They want to make clothes that make the world a better place – they use organic cotton sourced from family-run cooperatives, sew their garments in sweatshop-free factories, power their sock factory by wind energy – you get the idea.  The quality is great and I am totally looking into the men’s line for B!

What do you think of Splendies?  If you are interested in subscribing or want to learn more, click here.  And the folks over at Splendies are offering a special coupon code “RAMBLINGS”, which will take $4 off your first month!  So you’d get 3 pairs for only $8!!!

Oh, and if you are interested in a service like this, but the sizes Splendies offers won’t work for you, check out Volupties!  It’s Splendies curvy sister and offers 3 pairs of brand-name undies for $17, but if you use the code “RAMBLINGS” you can save $5 and bring the price down to $12 for your first month!

Disclosure: This package was received for review purposes. No compensation was received and all opinions are my own!

(*) I take 99% of subscription box pictures on my kitchen counter with my iPhone.  I could use my fancy camera and some fancy background, but listen, that’d take me forever and I don’t really want to be dedicating an area in my house – even in my basement or something to take pictures of boxes.  Because you know what would happen?  I’d end up with a big pile of stuff right next to my set-up and I wouldn’t use it / put it away / gift it / etc. like I do when it’s in my kitchen staring at me.

Spread the love

Yup, the Spree Cheekys are super cute.

Love the aqua undies (I like that term better too)! Victoria’s Secret used to sell some with similar detailing in the back years ago.
