PopSugar September Must Have Box

Okay, this is the PopSugar Must Have box I have been waiting for! If you’ll recall, I was SO excited about this box and tried to talk everyone I knew into signing up. I just felt like it was going to be amazing. And then the first month (July) came and I was underwhelmed. But I stuck with it, hoping for more. Last month was great. And this month? AMAZING!

The fact that the box was awesome totally made up for the fact it took SO long to arrive.  Slow down PopSugar (or whoever is at fault here) Slow down.  It would be crazy to actually get the September box in September now wouldn’t it?

I RAN from my mailbox into the house to open this!
Eek!  The information card is more of a booklet and it tells all about the items in the box.
First look!

Can you even believe how stocked this box is?

I should mention that it doesn’t appear the September box has any one specific “theme”.  It’s “Must Have” items from various categories.  I totally hope it stays this way because I think it’s such a fun idea.  Okay, now on to the good part.  Here’s exactly what the box contained:

Must Have Fashion:
~Brokedown Silver Marble Fringe Scarf ($84): I am IN LOVE with this scarf. This is the kind of item I was expecting from this subscription. A fabulous fashion piece that celebs wear (Jessica Alba – aka my BFF and Vanessa Hudgens have been seen sporting these scarves). LOVE. Now I just need to figure out how to wear it without looking like a complete idiot.  Oh and this also comes with a coupon code for 50% off another scarf!

Isn’t it pretty?

Must Have Entertainment
:
~Perks of Being a Wallflower ($8.40)(the book): I must live in a cave, because I have never even heard of this book, much less read it. But I hear it’s pretty awesome, so I will add it to my “to read” stack ;).

the perks of being a wallflower: the book

~Perks of Being a Wallflower ($24.00)(movie tickets): Once realized that the book was made into a movie that was just released, I understood why they included a book that was over 10 years old! I think we all know it costs a pretty penny to go to the movies these days and I haven’t been in ages.  I’m for sure using these. With out without B.

Must Have Food
:
~Pop-Up Pantry Dinner for Two ($32): Well if this isn’t the coolest idea ever, I don’t know what is. You get a three course dinner for two delivered to your door. You pick the menu you want and when you want it delivered and boom, it shows up. And it goes from the box to your table in 30 minutes. You know what I am going to do with this? Pick something amazing and pretend I made it myself when B says how good it is;). Oh and the package explaining this also included a cookie. Something to snack on (although it is kinda hard) while you decide what yummy meal you want.

~Becky’s Blissful Bakery Sea Salt Caramel ($3): Is your mouth watering yet? How yummy do these sound? Between these and the sea salt chocolate bar we got in our Mantrybox, my addition to sea salt is out of control!  And I know B is going to try and steal these from me.  And I am pretty sure we will end up ordering more.  I do like discovering new little companies from these monthly subscriptions.

Must Have Beauty
:
~Benefit Cabana Glama ($19 – on sale): This is a “7-piece brightening and bronzing kit”. I may not be huge into make-up, but I do love getting my (fake) tan on so I am excited about this. Plus, I am a sucker for anything that comes in a cute package, so this is right up my alley.

Must Have Home
:
~Rifle Paper Company Lined Paper Notepad ($8):  This is not typically something I would buy for myself, which makes me like it even more.  I currently use a Hello Kitty notepad to make lists.  This is a huge improvement.

Must Have Extras:
~Yes to Cucumbers Facial Towelettes ($2.99): I kind of like this idea.  They “cleanse, remove makeup, and nourish skin…all in one swipe”.  These sound perfect for someone who is lazy like me and cannot stand taking three minutes to wash her face every night.

~Kitsch Hair Ties ($6): I like twistband’s, so I am sure I will like these as well.  I just wish I would have come up with this idea!

~Food Should Taste Good Sweet Potato Chips ($2): I *think* I have tried these before, but can’t remember much about them?  If I loved them or totally hated them, I’d remember, so it can’t be either of those.

~PopSugar Must Have Coin Purse ($5): Not sure how to value this since it’s a PopSugar branded item that was made only for this box.  I’m going with $5.  Oh, and I will use this.  I usually just end up throwing change in the bottom of my bag and that is overly annoying when I need to find change for things!

~$25 Tracie Martyn Gift Card ($25): This line looks to be expensive, but I also don’t want my code to go to waste.  Meaning that I am not sure if I am going to use my code or not.  Who am I really kidding, I think we all know I am going to use it!

So that’s it, that was the September Must Have box!  All totaled, I believe I got $219.39 worth of “stuff” for $35 (and that’s without any codes).  I know lots of you signed up with the 50% off code they had last month.  Are you happy you did?  What’d you think of the box?  And if you are still on the fence, wait are you waiting for?  If this box wasn’t fabulous enough for you, nothing will be!  So click here to order.  And be sure to use coupon code “YOUTUBE2” to save $20 on your 3-Month Subscription.  Or if you hate commitment, use “REFER5” to save $5 on your first box.

Update: It appears that the October boxes are SOLD OUT!  Crazy!   But sign up now to get the November box before that one sells out too!!!

I ran into my office today and unboxed this in private. Good thing because the minute Bryan saw it, he snatched the caramels right up and started eating them. Just as I predicted!
